Just had another helping from Waffles & Chix. Much better this time, even though I was impressed the first time too.

I had this for the first tim eever earlier this summer when I was up in Thunder Bay for work. It was a Canadian version so it was fried chicken, a huge frickin waffle and maple syrup, pure 100% Canadian maple syrup.

I could have died, it was so delicious. I keep a picture of it on my phone!

Model Milk has chicken and waffles on the menu, but I doubt its the same experience as down south. I've never had it anywhere, but clearly lots of love for this!

I know the owner of Waffles & Chix Food truck. I use to work with him before he started the Food Truck.

The food truck is coming to my school on June 12th. Ordering the regular chicken and waffles. I'm not sure I want gravy though.

Roosevelt makes some very good chicken and waffles.

From the menu:
"Bacon and white cheddar waffles. Boneless buttermilk fried chicken. Canadian Maple Butter - $18"

I can also confirm that they're phenomenal.

I've heard the SugarBowl in Edmonton is really good. A bit on the expensive side (closer to $15) though. Probably not the same experience as you would get down in the South (obviously), but I've been meaning to go there the next time I'm in Edmonton.

Everything is good at the Sugarbowl. I have never been disappointed there.

Chix and Waffles foodtruck is pretty good, can look up their lunch locations online.

I've made some waffles at home for my leftover Chicken on the Way... that worked

I got the sugarbowl ones after the last battle of Alberta. It was good, but it was 1 waffle and 2 whole chicken breasts fried. The quantity of meat was a bit strange... just overboard. Overall pretty tasty though.

Also why is it so hard to find a good country gravy and buiscuits at a resteraunt here? I always have to make it myself when I'm craving it. For some reason everyones country gravy really misses the mark.
