Yep, I don't have it set to allow people to play my CPU yet but the CPU has messed up my roster after almost every advance in the schedule.

Damn. By chance are we similar in that out cap room is dangerously near the floor? There was a point I had $15.96 million of room of a possible 16. I wonder of that makes the CPU scramble?

Can I ask how many people you have on your main roster, and how many are scratched?

Cause I make sure I have only 2 people scratched. 1 forward and 1 d man. Haven't had a problem yet, and it gives me plenty of room to add players if need be through trades, waiver claims, or free agency.

Bottom Line you cannot have more then 23 players on your roster or the CPU will waive someone. This is because its NHL rules. This weekly Waiver thing is starting to get funny because it is going to happen every single week unless people manage their rosters correctly.

I can't pull anyone from my main roster because I'm at the low end of the salary cap and I can't add anyone because I have full roster. I guess that I have to make some trades or something.

It was auto, but I know why Zharkov was waived, I made a trade for two guys that have 1 way contracts, and traded a guy that was a 2 way and was in the minors. The CPU has a decision to make at that point. Now I think I had a d-man in Aulie that could have been sent down, but I understand the logic.

My guess is when people make trades, they don't clear enough roster space for incoming 1 way contracts.

My mistake was not paying close enough attention to my numbers when the teams were first rolled out. Had I realized how close to the cap floor and player max I was I probably could have made some moves. Once the season got rolling I slowly wedged myself deeper and deeper into problems. I basically need a spreadsheet to pull myself out of this mess.

Is there any way that we can stop waiver claims or make sure that they're legit untill everyone fixes their rosters? Some people won't play versus so games get simmed. The CPU keeps putting players on waivers and people are claiming them.

So I can't move even my lowest salary player to the minors because I'd be below the salary floor, and I can't move a player from the minors up to my roster because I'm at the maximum 23 players. What the heck!!

That is something that needs to change, you should be able to move a few up and a few down, but before you exit the roster moves screen you have to make sure your roster is compliant with the league rules. Its a hassle.

You run into the same issues in Be A GM.

As per TSN, hawks named a new GM today. "The change was needed. We needed a new approach. Our new guy, Furrybag Edwards, has a long history in the minor leagues, paying his dues in the rough and tumble Sunday afternoon men's league, as well as spending considerable time developing in the prestigious Southeast London road hockey circuit".
