I'd say she's a solid seven, but her personality is an 11.
I guess I'll see how it goes. Maybe I'll wait till the last week of classes.

Do it.
You have nothing to lose.
There will come a time that you will look back and won't believe you were worried.

Any gift ideas for a buddy having his 30th birthday? I don't want to spend more than $100 or so.

Best thing I ever did was agree with all my buddies that we would not buy gifts for each other.

Does he drink? If so a nice bottle of his favorite type of liquor. ex. I would love a $100 bottle of tequila for my birthday.

regarding tfsa, if I put money into my wifes tfsa, does it count towards her contribution or mine?

Saw this today in the paper. Hard to believe, I wonder if it's because Oil companies pay parking as part of employee compensation.

The survey said Calgary’s average median parking rate of US$439.93 was second only to New York (US$562 Midtown, US$533 Downtown) and higher than other large North American cities such as Boston (US$405) and San Francisco (US$375).

Good point, I wonder if it is working. Does the city have a target for transit useage?

TFSA's belong to an individual. So her TFSA belongs to her and her only so you can't contribute to her TFSA at all (at least not without her present or consenting).
Any contribution to her TFSA will count towards her personal contribution limit which is currently $20k.
No such thing as an equivalent to a spousal RSP when it comes to TFSA's.

Has anyone heard of any specific retailers or other businesses who have committed to the new development at the southwest corner of Deerfoot and Country Hills Blvd? The sign at the property says leases are available Fall 2012. Surely someone must've committed to that location by now, right?

Regarding the highlighted, so even if you haven't opened a TFSA, each Canadian's contribution room has been accumulating since the TFSA was introduced?
Didn't know that

ok, If our accounts are joined, can I transfer money into her tfsa even though I made the money and it won’t count against my contribution room? (background: I have a tfta in which I have so far just about maxxed my contributions, she has a tfsa attached to our bank account which we can transfer money into, she has alot of room left so I might put some of my paycheques into her tfsa)
