Never thought about changing all those settings, even after playing the Genesis (since 1992)/PS/and PS2 version..slowing it down to aprreciate some of the player detail/moves and not having such a hit fest would be a good idea.
Last one I had was 2003...still not use to some buttons, and not a big fan of the controls to change up the lines manually.
Got mine the day it came out (not a big vid player anymore)...have to say, I don't mind the "create ice" move, as well as the wrap arounds...plus, deflections are now automatic.
Have'nt done the dynasty, but loved in in Madden the last couple versions, as far as signing/trading etc etc. Kind of a different beast with football teams being so large as far as having so many players to keep track of, but..
