You might change your tune knowing I just Fapped and didn't wash my hands before I shook yours, were real close now.

Where's the Demolition Man references. Maybe you can outlaw all fluid transfers while you are at it:

And their hands are always cold and clammy too. Like they dip them in ice water for a few minutes before shaking your hand.

Change, change, change...that's all some people want to do. I think there are too many things changing these days as it is. Tradition is what defines our culture, and I believe the handshake is a tradition that should stay.

I don't think you guys are forced to shake the same hands that I am. After some handshakes, I go straight for the purell AND a tetanus shot. When I get into a situation where I am meeting someone who it is doubtful they use toilet paper let alone proper handwashing techniques, I roll out the salute. Stop a few feet in front of them and give a "hey, how ya doin" salute.

As a female there's nothing I hate more than shaking another female's hand (or even a limp-wristed fellow's!) and initiating all the firmness. Grow a pair and shake my hand properly, dammit! :P

I have to wonder if the people voting for no handshakes are actually against handshakes, or just for one the new suggestions such as showing of genitalia.

Probably happens to everyone once in a while
me: "alright brain heading into this handshake, i'm gonna shake this M****F*****s hand so hard i'm gonna break it"
Brain: "acknowledged, preparing to crush hand in manly handshake"
*arm extended hand open and awkward moment catching a finger in the palm or missing the hand and shaking the fingers
Me: "ABORT! ABORT!"
Brain: "Sh*t! we really #####ed that up now we need to chug a beer or blow some ass to reassert manlyness"

First of all, no. Sanitary reasons? Humanity is going to be wiped out by the common cold because we all became whiny, sterile bitches.

Your definition of manliness and mine are not the same, but whatever man...

You mean you don't always have one brewing up inside in case such scenario happens??
For the record I don't actually do this but my brain may have wandered down that path before.

Yeah, without a single exception whenever some guy missing half his teeth has come into my shop he has gone in for a handshake. Same with guys with black grease permanently imbedded into their skin.
