Belichick keeping it real, as always. Six-figure fine upcoming I'd imagine.

Belichick earns in a month what these guys earn in a year. Chump change, he'll say he's sorry then he'll be back to his ways by Week 5.
Much respect to Torrey Smith

Man that was an embarrassing game by the NFL. That was the worst officiated game (both sides) that i have ever seen. Its embarrassing that this garbage hasnt been worked out. Pay the damn refs. Teams get 16 games a year and refs are impacting the standings
Enough is enough, this has become borderline unwatchable.

And it doesn't matter. Stadiums are full, Sundays are still spent in front of the television. The NFL's attitude appears to be that they don't care and that their game is so entrenched that it won't make a difference when it comes to their bottom line. They're right.

Looks like the Pats defence will be the death of them once more, they give up so many yards and cant get any QB pressure... doesnt help that pretty much any deep throw gets flagged and not just against the Pats but everyone. the PI on Mccourty was certainly a good call though

It's painful how much slower the games have gotten this year with the replacement refs. I know it went to OT, but having to watch that Saints/Chiefs debacle for 4hrs was insane. How do you have 5 challenge reverses in one game? Seriously, how??

i am sure the Goodell gets paid more in a week than the difference between what the refs want and what the NFL is offering.. just get it done, this is painful

Interesting tweet from Terrell Suggs tonight, if it is what I think it means he plans on being back in Week 7 @ Houston. Great news if true!

The Lions are historic!!
Quote:
The Lions became the first NFL team to score two touchdowns in the final 18 seconds of regulation to force overtime, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. They were also the first team in history to give up five touchdowns of at least 60 yards in one game.

Especially the Pierre Thomas touchdown reversal was horrendous. Huge missed holding call on Charles big run, Wilson was bear hugged for 7 yards down the field. Oh and at least 2 big time OPI that went uncalled. The Saints haven't played well but I'm of the firm belief we'd be 2-1 with competent officials.

Reminded me of this game:
Bears vs Browns 2001
Except that the team down by 14 with 30 seconds to go actually won in Overtime.
