Shaw Audio Gaps

Anyone else in Calgary having audio gaps on all channels with Shaw right now? the video stream is fine... and I just installed a new TV.... but it worked yesterday

All. The. Freaking. Time. For every second of audio I can actually hear, about 3 seconds is missing. Impossible to even follow a show anymore.

I haven't had a sound drop in 6 months or so.

I'm on Gateway and it happens all the time.

Don't watch enough TV to care right now, but if it's not fixed when the weather sucks, I'll be looking to discontinue the service - It's unusable.

The Gateway is really sensitive to any bad connections or wiring. I was having some dropout issues, mostly with one portal but to a lesser extent with the others, so Shaw sent a tech who basically re-did every cable connection in my house. Since then I haven't had a single problem.

I would get a tech to come out and look at it.

I used to have pretty bad sound drops early last year, but then Shaw did some system wide fix (someone else might remember the details of this) then they mostly disappeared. Once I switched to the Gateway, I never heard one again.
