Okay, I give up.

I give up on free web hosting, and I give up on trying to host this forum. There's no sense in spending money on it, and free web hosting servers are obviously not powerful enough to run a freaking forum for 60 people.

Let's just use CP, and have everyone on textPlus.

Just a reminder that the league will advance tomorrow morning to today is the final day to get your games in before they are simmed. If you're unable to play, and haven't set your game statuses to allow the CPU to play for you, be sure to do that if you can find a quick minute to do that.

I can't play my last game and can't even set my team to CPU because I can't sign on to gm connected...... It's the same problem I've been having since Sunday, I get booted from the ea servers every time I try to access our league. I'm really at a loss right now, am I basically screwed until ea releases a patch or something?

Sounds like an issue with your router/firewall.

+1. Is your PS3 on WiFi, or hard wired to your router? Depending on how quick your network is, that could be an issue as well.

It's not a router or firewall issue, it's a gm connected issue. I can connect to the ea servers, and play online games with zero issues. I also used gm connected the first few days without issue, now when I try to connect I get booted every time

Considering you're the only one reporting this issue, I would disagree. Does the iPhone app log you in?

GM Connected could be using different ports, I guess. And yeah, I was able to connect just fine last night, so I doubt it's an EA issue.

By the way, Joborule will be creating some new threads for organizing our league, and I've been in contact with the Mods about having our own sub forum. They were discussing it, but it got put on the back-burner. It's going to be re-visited, and I hope to hear back from them soon.

In the meantime, we'll just do our own thing, and worst case, they say no. But if they go ahead and do it, it shouldn't matter cause we can just get our threads moved into the new sub-section.

The issue has to be your ports then. I don't have the ones that should be open on hand at the moment, but your manual should contain them.

So we don't have too much jumping around going on, this will be on hold until we hear back from the admins.

EA severs can be fussy. I would check to make sure they're open if you're not in DMZ mode.

Have you tried resetting your modem/router connection? Maybe there's a slight delay in your internet speed at the moment that causes you to time out when entering the mode.

If it was a GM Connected issue we'd all be seeing it instead of a select few. Surely it's something more selective than a server-wide issue. As suggested, check your modem and router, a reboot is never a bad thing =)

Are you in DMZ mode? I remember when I was having issues I put my PS3 in DMZ, now everything works flawlessly
