Everytime I see them I imagine Nelson's soap-box car racer from the Simpsons.

$1300 for the root canal, I don't even want to wager a guess how much it'll cost for the crown. Now I'm thinking I should just get it pulled and have a bridge installed.
Are bridges permanent? Are they a hassle or come with their own set of problems? What can I expect to pay for a bridge? I see the dentist again next Tuesday. Would I even ned a bridge?

The same thing just happened to me. Small pain starts on the upper left side on tuesday night after hockey. Didnt think too much off it, wed comes along pain is still there. Take some drugs pain goes away and I brush my teeth good a couple of times and use scope thinking that maybe something is stuck up there that is causing me pain. Wake up wed night at 1am with throbbing pain, sit there until 4am wanting to kill myself and take a crap ton of pain meds and eventually fall asleep. Go to dentist at 10 get a root canal done. At least they didnt crack my tooth.

No, they stuck straight out, like something from Mad Max or Death Race. Only had them on the front wheels.

But the antibiotics still make your resistance weaker over time yes?
3) you may not see it as a risk, but if you choose not to get the vaccine and pass the virus to a person at risk, you too are responsible
I partially agree. If someone is at risk of having serious issues in the case they get the flu, isnt it their responsibility to be vaccinated?

Thanks for the corrections, obviously I don't have much knowledge of the biology of these things, but just some clarifaction questions under your points.

Why do Americans wear shoes inside houses? Isn't the wear on the floors a concern? Or are their shoes so clean that it isn't a problem?

I'm looking into new work, and am at an interview prep stage. One of the questions I was given to prepare for asks about team experience.
I was thinking about using my raid leading experience from playing WoW some years back...but am now wondering if I should stick with a more 'traditional' answer and lift an example from my current job. Thoughts?

1) I have no studies to point to, but I cannot see how repeated vaccinations would decrease susceptibility to any virus. Your body does not distinguish between learned immunity from either a vaccination or the illness. Antibody production happens either way
2) your innate resistance to bacteria is not very likely changed by antibiotic therapy. The real problem is in the community as emergent resistant strains affect all of us. In the animal world they add antibiotics to the feed to increase overall health and growth, so I would suspect the opposite is true
3) I agree with you in part too, though I look at vaccination in this way: some immunocomprimised people will exist and there are populations that cannot receive all vaccinations. Also, a certain percentage of the population must be vaccinated to prevent widespread outbreaks/endemics. By not getting vaccinated you are essentially opening a vehicle for viral transmission. It is. Very complex ethical situation, I just feel that the persons own health/fitness is only a small part of the conversation

As an interviewer with experience only in hiring unskilled or management candidates I would question the maturity of a video game answer to a teamwork question. Know your audience; if they do not appear to be the type to be familiar with WoW, I would avoid lending yourself to a stereotype.
Unless the job is with computer nerds...then I'm lost

Well, I will see if it works tomorrow. I hate the feeling that the transaction might not have gone through.
I keep forgetting that you can deactivate the parking spots, too. I would hear that my parking was valid for another hour and a half and try to find a way to kill that time downtown.

I grew up in Scotland where people also wear shoes in the house. There was always a good doormat at the door and everyone wipes their shoes. Yes, the rugs take a lot of wear and tear and get replaced a lot more often. Carpet is way cheaper over there. Also, people who live in the house change into slippers or house shoes.

So my dad gave me his two rifles. A 22 and a 30-30. I know SFA about guns, and neither does he. He's had them kicking around for 30 years after he bought them just to fire for fun, here and there. They're dusty, but they're in pretty good condition.
So first question... The gun registry has been scrapped, right? So it's legal for these things to collect more dust in the corner of my storage room?
Second question... I do have my hunting license, so maybe one day I'll actually go out and hunt. Should I do something to these guns before I buy bullets and start shooting?
Third question... The 22 has a crack in the wood right around the chamber. Is this a safety issue? Logic tells me that the firing takes place inside the barrel, and the wood is just to hold it, so I think it's fine, but I really don't know anything about guns.
Last question... Does it bother anyone that a guy that knows nothing about guns just gave his son, who also knows nothing about guns, two guns?

Even with the registry out the door, you still need a PAL to "own" those guns. You'd said you had a hunting license. That's not the same as a possession and acquisition license.
I'd take them to a gunsmith for a once over before you fire either of them.

Would you guys find it weird if a person you've never met face-to-face before signs off of our conversations by text with "hugs"?

If it's available I highly recommend the cool lime over the hibiscus. I never had them in the Via instant coffee form, but when I got them in store the cool lime was a lot better than the very berry hibiscus.

Definitely need more information to answer that. If it's a business contact, then it would be very weird.

Turns out it is not available in Canada anyway, in pouches. I found some Arizona powdered stuff that works ok, though.
