I am finding this "Real Physics Skating" annoying. Offside-mania! Its like my players dont know to slow down at the blue line when they are the one without the puck.

I just want to point out that I picked Detroit in my Xbox league today (not CP, sim only) and got the exact same roster as I did on the PS3 league. Pretty sad that EA had caged teams already setup for the random drafts.

Edit: I was told this is common, and already mentioned.....fail me.

The really weird thing is if they were going to pre-set the supposedly random rosters, why didn't they make them closer to equal? There are clearly teams in this (Nashville) that are way better than other teams (Columbus).

Because this is a Dynasty league... Nashville is setup for now. Screwed in the future unless I make some sacrifices. I am going to need to move some high end talent for players with potential if i can manage it.

I easily have the oldest team in the league.

Other teams have guys with alot of potential and some solid NHL'rs.

Cant look at this as a one season thing. If you do, you will be screwed.

I guess, but in a 30 team league it seems pretty unlikely that more than 1-2 seasons will get played before NHL 14 comes out.

Probably not that screwed if you can hold on to some guys for an extra year or two. With the schedule this league pace is set to, we'll complete roughly 3-4 seasons before NHL 14 comes out.

I think there's some kind of glitch with the make trade and free agency options. When you are scrolling through the menu and hit free agency it pauses while over the option, loads, and then skips to the next option. The same thing happens with make a trade, but only sometimes. Anyone know what's going on with this?

I Made a league and advanced a week and the same thing still happens with free agency. I'm not sure how we are supposed to make offers to fas or even see them come saturday(or any day for that matter) when we can't even select the free agency option in game.....

You can select it. You just gotta tap the down or up button lightly to do it. For some reason it seems sensitive around that spot.

I was able to get to it by scrolling past it and then scrolling up towards it. That has to be a minor fixable glitch, but I've said that before.

Yup go to League Members and it'll show you who's online or even who's online but idle.

At midnight tonight the transaction freeze will be lifted. You guys can then formal trades and beginning signing free agents. I won't be doing approvals until tomorrow morning most likely though.
