I can understand both sides of it now that I have had a kid.
This morning i spent a good 20 mins, wrestling with my 14 month son. He was trying to hit me with a pillow and then run and hide. Great times.
I go to change his diaper so I can get him dressed for day-care. Pee all over my freshly dry-cleaned shirt. Have to go get a new shirt. Bad times.
Drop him off at daycare and he runs in to join the other kids. But before he gets there he turns around waves bye and smiles. Great times.
This is the life of a parent. It is such a crazy roller-coaster.
I personally love it and have always wanted the challenge of kids, however I completely understand that not every one wants that.
