Well thats about as ugly as she gets. Cant win when your getting sacked 9 times a game, a bad offensive line is the worst thing a team can have. Clay Mathews looks like he is playing against a junior high team

Got ok at the end, but otherwise that was an ugly offensive performance for both sides all around, drop city. If it wasn't only Week 2 and the novelty of football being back had already worn off I would've changed the channel before halftime. Something tells me there's gonna be a lot of extra work on the Juggs machine at Packers & Bears practice next week.
EDIT: Haha anyone see on the Driver Lambeau leap in the 4th where that one obviously drunk fan wrapped his arm around him with a beer in his hand and proceeded to spill half the bottle all over Driver? At one point he was holding it completely sideways. What a moron.

Ugly game but GB was full marks for the win. they completely shut down the Bears offense, one of the more one-sided efforts in recent memory.
Cut ler is nothing more than an average QB and wayyyyy below average wehn it comes to playing the packers. next time he may think about what he says before trash talking a team he has now thrown 7 TDs against while getting picked off 16 times. What a twerp

I don't think he is an average QB at all, but admittedly has trouble against the Packers. He would still be lower on the list of people I would blame their loss on tonight. I can only remember about a handful of plays where he didn't have a player in his face. I'm also dissapointed in the receivers, especially Bennett who had a big chance to take advantage of a lot of 1-on-1 matchups with Marshall being double teamed.

Using his career stats...he has 120 TDs, 170 sacks and 91 INTs after tonight...thats actually way below average.

... And his avg yardage and completion percentage is above average in his games played.
Im not sure when sacks became a quarterbacks' casualty stat? Seems like an Offensive Line downfall to me. It's hard to blame him for throwing picks when he is constantly under pressure within seconds. The fact that he was sacked more times in one Chicago season (52 - 2010) then his entire career in Denver can attest to that.

Partially true, but he hangs on to the ball way to long. Cutler falls apart on the field and on the sideline the instant something goes wrong for him.
He's an above average quarterback if he gets great protection, but he's below average to me if the slightest thing goes wrong. He also seems like the opposite of a leader, hard to picture him taking a team to a Super Bowl tbh.
Dealing Cutler is the one thing I think Josh McDaniel did right in Denver.

No wonder Cutler throws picks - he locks on to the receiver right away. Rodgers looks off the DBs, so they never know where the ball is going.

When Cutler isn't under center you find out just how bad the Bears offensive line really is. Cutler certainly has his flaws, but when you take 3 steps back and two guys are already in your face, you're forced to improvise.
I figured that Green Bay would have some desparation in their game as they really didn't want to lose their first two games at home. Whereas the Bears would have liked to win that game, but it wasn't as crucial to them just yet. I know all 16 games are crucial...but in the moment, I'm sure the Packers knew they really needed to win this one because if you come out of September with a 1-3 record, things can get bad fast.

I don't know if its the OC or the QB, however most of the time you know exactly what to do with the ball if you take 3 steps back and you have pressure. There is almost always a 'hot route' to throw to.

Maybe Cutler is too slow with his drops because the 3 step drop is designed to let you get back and fire the ball to the hot route. Thats determined pre snap where you need to throw too. From what I saw, which was only parts of the second half...at the 3rd step the pressure was already there. At which point I would think you put him in the shot gun, and really spread them out. Than there's no excuses to not get rid of the ball.
Mind you Cutler is a guy who likes to live dangerously I think and try to move around in the pocket to get the down field throws. When he's on, he can look brilliant...when he's not, he's terrible. Not a lot of middle ground with him.

See, I have a hard time believing this. He was sacked 53 times in 2010, I believe it was about 15 more times than any other quarterback, yet he still led the team to a division title and a 10-5 season. Last year he was 23 times in only 10 games. 23 times, and he was 7-3 up to that point and most likely on route to a 10+ win season. Hardly seems like someone who falls apart when something goes wrong.
He does have a temper on the sideline, anyone could see that but I really dont blame him, after the 4th sack in only the 2nd quarter, given up by the same LT, I'd like to think most QBs would be pretty openly livid at that player.
Finally; Lovie Smith, Brian Urlacher, Lance Briggs, Julius Peppers and Charles Tillman have all noted him as a natural leader on the field and I think the fact he is belligerent, vocal and angry make him look like a bad team player when most QBs in the league have a much more passive and quiet manner about them when things are going south
