I have two players I would move, Dave Bolland, and Lauri Korpikoski. I would be willing to include draft picks for a OFD with a 83 or higher rating.

My lineup looks horrible, I believe I have 4 guys in my starting lineup that have a 72 rating. I took a quick look at it this morning, but I think my top 6 is:

Ponikarovsky-Carter-Stafford
Scrub I can't remember-Stajan-Upshall

Lundqvist is going to have to stand on his head.

Yea.. well the problem is, I will have a few of them for only a season or 2 as i am certain I have the oldest team in the league by far.

So a big guy is gonna have to go for the future or a developing stud.

I have a question. How do young players develop in this system? Say you have a high end prospect, but who is only rated at 72 right now. How does he develop into a higher overall skill level? How long would that take?

That's my question as well. I sometimes question the ratings that these players get. I haven't checked this myself, but I think my brother told me that Sven has a rating of like 67. I thought he'd be worth more than that.

We checked Cervenka, and he was quite low as well. It was in the 50's or 60's, I don't remember the number.

Then Iggy gets an 85, while Kesler is a 90. But the game is made in Vancouver, after all...

Sven is currently rated a 68.
I simulated one season in Be A GM to see how player development occured and Sven grew to an 82 overall after one season in the NHL.

From what I can tell, you usually want to aim for prospects with the 4+ star ratings.

Good to hear it effects their ratings that much in one season. I probably have the youngest team in our league.

So is there a way to view free agents through the game rather than the app?(And yes I know we can't sign anyone yet), I'd just like to see who is in free agency

Yeah just go to the Trade Centre section under My Team, and tap Free Agents. You'll get a list, and if you tap on the player, you'll get more information about him, and a big red button that says Make Offer.

TSN reports that the Los Angeles Kings are close to a deal that would see them add a top six forward, but something is holding up the deal. Sources say that the team currently has three NHL goaltenders, and is looking to move either Jacob Markstrom or Peter Budaj first for another piece.

GM Stealth22 had no comment. "I don't respond to rumours and speculation. We're always looking for ways to improve our team, and we're always in conversation. I have had conversations with other GM's, but I am not willing to discuss any specifics. At this time, there's no trades imminent."

I hate to part with Markstrom, but he's available for the right price.
