I know there is a free agency freeze, but how will it work? Monday morning will it just be a free-for-all with the players "deciding" where they want to go based on offers?

This is the exact reason why a Salary Cap should be enforced. Otherwise the 12 million offers will be flying left and right for the 80+ guys available.

Once the calendar starts moving forward a day or two, the players will being to accept the "best offer" made to them I imagine.

There is a salary cap as far as I know. Mine said I had 15 million available.

Negative. The app is pretty bare bones. You can:
- See transactions
- make trades
- See injuries
- See schedule
- See standings (team, player and goalie)

You can't even see any trade proposals in the app, which is just stupid. You can make trade proposals, but cannot see any others have made for you.

What the...whats the point of the damn thing then? 
It's really just a stats viewer then. As a software dev, I would have much rather preferred a website that everything could be managed from. I'm sure the game is all just database-driven, and every time you switch screens in-game, it does a refresh from the database server anyway. It can't be THAT difficult to hook into it from a web app.

This app has a ton of room for improvement. Hopefully they make some additions to it.
