Jobo, can you set it up so our teams are protected from simulated games? Unless im deployed which wont be for a long while, i will be able to play every game. I dont want someone playing against "my" cpu.

I think you are automatically protected aren't you? I.e. no one can play CPU games against you unless you actively switch your team to "simulated" mode.

The iPad app? I used it last night and it worked good for me. Very limited options you can do with it though.

I just want to view my full roster. I'm getting an error message that says "The network server is currently unavailable. Your leagues could not be retrieved. Please try again later."

I know that the internet is working, and I tried both the office wifi and turning on hotspot on my phone.

EDIT: Working now...reinstalling the app seemed to fix it. Weird.

I would think you are correct. However, I have yet to discover where to make the switch to simulated mode, vice versa.

Im thinking its a Commish control option.

I believe if you just hit X on one of your games in the weekly schedule, one of the options is to enable your team to play as the computer.

edit: Got the app working. It appears they added some special instructions on the download app screen. Log in to easports.com, go to your profile, click the change button in the top right and make sure it's set to PS3 and not ea (my issue). Then sign in again to the app and it should work.

Not a ton of stuff in the app, but a decent crack at it for the first year. It'll mainly be a stats viewer, but that's ok. It could be more robust, but with it only being on iOS it wouldn't work how I see it in my mind.

Couple questions....the games on the right side of the menu are the games that need to be completed in the 4 days correct? Also, if you click to play the game will it notify your opponent that your ready seeing as some people will be more ahead in there games than others or is it up to you to contact every opponent to set up a time to play?

My guess is that it's up to us to communicate. Perhaps we should consider a standardized way of doing this to keep confusion to a minimum? My initial thought would be to keep all communication to PM's on this site.

I only glanced at it last night, but it looked like designating games for the CPU to play for you is simply a matter of enabling the option. It seemed like you either allow people to play your team when you aren't there or you don't. For that reason I think most of us would have that set to enabled but we'd make damn sure we don't play somebody's CPU team without confirmation first.

Jobo, are you sure the schedule was set to one week? I've got 6 games scheduled, which seems like a lot, maybe it was set to 2 weeks by mistake?

Not really impressed with my roster lol. I need help pretty much everywhere except for goaltending. Desperately need to find a top six left winger though. No one on my team is untouchable!

Forgot to mention this as well.

I had signed into the app, and it asked me which profile to use. This was before I had joined the league.

But it started working after I did two things. First, I reinstalled the app, and second, I logged into my profile at EA.com and set my PS3 account as my default, as it had no default set. So I don't know if it was one or the other, or both that fixed it. But at least its working now.

For some reason I thought it was suppose to be two weeks. That's my mistake. Been fixed, should reflect on next advance.

TSN is hearing rumours that the Los Angeles Kings are looking to add a 2nd or 3rd line winger...

EDIT: Joborule, can we talk with other GM's about potential trades before Saturday? I.e. not sending a formal proposal in-game or via the app, but picking up the phone and kicking tires?

...this game mode is going to destroy any sort of productivity at work for me. I just spent a good chunk of time going through everyone's roster on the app and seeing who ended up where.

This mode friggin' rules.
