Agreed, one of the drawbacks of playing in the NFC South. Best corner in the division, dude's been playing at a Pro Bowl level for years. Huge loss for the Falcons.
Wasn't he playing on the franchise tag this year too? Real tough break, he deserves to get paid.

Well I mean to be fair, that 22nd pick was the one they stole from Atlanta in the Julio Jones trade, so it wasn't even their pick to begin with. I'm not entirely sure if their plan was to tank, but drafting Weeden is a no lose situation: If he's good, he's your QB going forward; if he sucks, you get Matt Barkley. Pretty much a win-win right there.

Great start to the season, hopefully they don't repeat what they did last year after kicking Pittsburgh's ass and losing the next week on the road at Tennessee.
This is going to be really bad with Chris Berman doing the play by play for the second game.

what got me was when he touched the ball... especially that flat he caught the ball on... he completely ignored his 2 lead blocks and ran towards the middle of the field
