I don't think that Vick was that effective in his prime at passing but yes I would be fine with that.

I think that Rodgers does a decent job of being mobile and running while being effective at the passing game. But the key with him is that he still looks for the pass first and makes plays with his arm. Even in his "prime" Vick still ran first and passed second in my view.

Well my weakness at RB cost me this week. I can be a little happier that it didn't matter if I played Beanie Wells or Rashad Jennings, either way would have been the same.

Sucks to see Spiller put up 23 on my bench, but with the injury to Jackson I may have just caught a break and got some help at RB.

Ugh, my last second decision to bench Fleener for Witten minutes before the Wednesday opener cost me my week in the CP league. At least my team looks a hell of a lot more competitive than the last time I was in the B league 2 years ago.

I played the odds and played Brees over RG3. Next week I have a tough choice as RG3 is playing St. Louis..

Things were looking grim for me until Aaron Rodgers decided it was time to throw to James Jones in the 4th quarter. The three consecutive catches with the TD, combined with Prater staying off the field last night won the game for me.

Sorry, Pagal!

I have a small lead in my week 1 matchup (slightly less than one TD) and each of us have one receiver left tonight.

I have Malcom Floyd and my opponent has Robert Meachem.

Should be a fun game to watch!

I put in Cedric benson to replace Stewart instead of putting in CJ spiller who knew he would go ham. Now I'm counting on Baltimore and mike Nugent.

I have to choose between Floyd and Heyward-Bey tonight and I'm down 14.

No idea who to go with, I like the Chargers to put up points so that makes me lean to Floyd. However, the Raiders injury issues make me think Heyward-Bey will get a ton of targets tonight, the flip side of that is that he may also draw a ton of coverage.

I had Floyd two years ago when the Bolts didn't have Vincent Jackson for the first 9 games due to his hold out, and he was putting up monster numbers until he got injured. He actually had a couple of huge games against the Raiders IIRC. His problem is that he'll eventually have a hamstring injury that sidelines him 8 weeks into the season.

It's being reported that Nelson is done for the year, and Jackson is out 4 weeks best case scenario.

What do people think of Ogletree? Looked pretty decent in his first game, do you think he can be a viable option or will he get lost in the mix behind Bryant and Austin?

I liked what I saw from him last thursday. Plus Romo was pumping the kids tires big time after the game. Looks like he definitely has earned some trust.

Both Bryant and Austin have some nagging injury problems so Ogletree should continue to see playing time. My only worry about Ogletree is that he's had his chance to secure that #3wr role on Dallas for sometime but never did.

Ogletree netted 114 yds and 2 TDs last game. In his previous 3 seasons he had 284 yds and 0 td's. Very similar to Miles Austin's career path. In his first 3 seasons he put up 354 yds with 3 TDs. The next season he exploded for 1320 yds and 11 TDs.

That said, I'm more in the camp that it was a one-time game. I don't think he'll be able to keep up the pace but could fit in nicely as a depth fantasy wr.

Plus they got the crap kicked out of them by the Jets. That is a terrible week 1 for the Bills.

In a 10 team PPR league with a bunch of rooks, I see both Steven Ridley and C.J. Spiller are available in FA but I only have room for one. Who would you take? I'm leaning towards Ridley but a second opinion is always good.

Take Spiller.

Ridley likely won't blow up every week.

Spiller was the leading rusher the last few weeks last year, and now week 1 was a monster. I would lean to him.

Well my team this week was projected to put up 140 points. I got 73. Chris Johnson, McCoy, Jennings, and DeAngelo Williams really held my team back.

Alright thanks boys. Was just leaning towards Ridley because I know he's the legit #1, whereas once Jackson's back in a month(?) Spiller could be sharing duties. Spiller's definitely the higher ceiling for the time being though, especially in a PPR league.
