Well from a strategic point of view, is it the same as in NHL12 when you choose to have a fantasy draft with a team, that you also get that chosen fantasy drafted teams' prospects and AHL-team?

Is the draft order for the players the same as the team/logo selection? And I would probably lean more towards having the loser point in OT, but if everyone wants just a straight W or L system, then it's no big deal I guess.

There will be no player draft since EA removed that feature for online play so this draft is only for team/logo and possibly prospects (?).

Just a thought here. I was playing around witht he game on the weekend a little, played a few offline games with the rules on all-star, hardcore and it was ridiculos how if the CPU even has their stick in the area, you lose the puck. I played some online games, and it seems to be tuned nicely and I do not think it is as unforgiving.

Any chance we can set the league up as it is for online? Maybe it is and it was just placibo effect?

Not going to happen. Stores get hefty fines for releasing early. Your best bet is the midnight launch.

Yeah, when I preordered sales buddy from EB told me it may be released a day early. From looking at the site and all the midnight release hype it obviously wont be released till 9/11.

Thinking about taking Wednesday off of work if all goes according to plan and I have it in my hands tomorrow morning.

I can't remember if it was NHL 11 or 12, but one of them was released a day or two early. One store began to sell them early and others followed suit, while some still honored the official release day. I think I can hold off one day personally.
