You know, generally I just kind of laugh you off and watch others get frustrated by you. You clearly don't know WTF you are talking about.

I was nervous for this game, but Manning was rock solid tonight. What a game to come back after how long he was off...YES!!!

Another team in the AFC North could very well give Pittsburgh and/or Chicago a shot for the worst offensive line in the NFL.

Well he half knows... the defense is quite impressive in Denver and I really think Von Miller is going to become one of the leagues best LBs the likes of Willis, Vilma, Urlacher or Peterson.

However the offense is quite pedestrian outside or Manning and while they are not terrible players, Manning does a hell of a lot in making them look great.

They've looked great before tonight. Tim Tebow did a hell of a lot to make them look pedestrian.

I was rooting for Steelers, but that was a great game to watch. If it weren't for Big Ben's 9-hour long drives, I think Denver would have won by more.

I've never heard of this Porter guy. What a ballhawk!

they have not looked terrible, as some teams' WR corps out there are, but the Thomas/Decker duo is still average in league comparison and void of a #1 receiver.
Make no mistake, the Broncos' pulse is their all-pro defense and it really isnt anything to be ashamed of

Thomas WILL be a notable #1 receiver. Dude is a beast. Decker is pretty solid as #2.

Denver has a good receiving crop. It's just that with Tebow they didn't get to do much.

Thomas and Decker are a young emerging duo. Thomas has the tools to be a number 1, and he's in his third year, which is often when WR's tend to really emerge. The offensive line is pretty good too with a lot of guys picked in the first couple rounds. With this type of QB play the Broncos are a team who'll end up playing to get to the AFC Championship game. They will be in the mix with Houston, New England and Baltimore.

You know what my favourite part of that clip is? Phil Simms blabbing on about how the Saints shouldn't blitz Manning or it will cost them, then watching the Saints win on a blitz. God that man is an idiot.

They very well COULD be, but they HAVEN'T been yet, which states my point of the fat that they dont yet have a #1 WR. I do believe that Thomas does have the tools to be a top wide-out, but he still has a long ways to go to prove that status quite yet.

Ya Porter looked great in the 2nd half today, monster game from him. The facial expression on Manning when they showed him on the sidelines after the Ben pick 6 was priceless.

I'll always love the guy for the Favre/Manning picks but I've never been overly huge on him & was fine seeing him go this past off-season. Got a nose for the ball but he's a terrible tackler. But today was the best I've seen him look since that clip posted above, amazing what he can look like when you have a DL that can actually get pressure on the QB, something the Saints know nothing about since the SB win.

You don't just laugh me off you also overrate the Denver Broncos. Not just this year but every year.

Sure the team has some talent but they are far from the unquestionable talent that you make them out to be.

They have some of the pieces on both sides of the ball but big question marks as well which is why I questioned the talent.

Good for Thomas for making big plays but this game and lsat year he spent a large part of games doing nothing.

Sorry for not fawning over your favorite team.

Show me one post where I use hyperbole to describe any Denver Bronco. I can show you probably 5 from you that uses hyperbole to describe them negatively including two in this thread.

That is what I take issue with.

I think the Steelers are a better team, but it isn't because the Broncos have meh talent. Suggesting that Bailey and Porter are anything less than above average says an awful lot moon.

At this stage in their careers I think both are definitely not above average.

So... I'm not much of an NFL fan, but I watched the Broncos-Steelers game. Are there always so many touchbacks in the NFL? Seems like you never got to see a kickoff return, and that's not much fun. Maybe they should make them kick off from further back or something.

I believe they moved the kick-offs 5 yards up last year to limit the big collision plays that often happen on returns and reduce concussions.

Thanks for the explanation. Apparently last season had a 35% touchback rate... this particular game had a 91% touchback rate (and the kick that was returned was also in the endzone and the return created and advantage of 1 yard, so it might as well have been a touchback).
