What about if the receiver grazes the DB and he jumps back like he was shot a cannon?

Agree it is a penalty on Lewis (although weak considering what they don't call) but a shame something can't be called on the Esk DB for his crap on that play.

Ya, never mind the fact that he fell over like a domino. Fact is the guy was flat footed, probably gave up about 80 pounds, got struck by a tank like Lewis and down he went. not a penalty - a physical mismatch.

If there wasn't sufficient contact i think the humiliation of getting run over and giving up a touchdown would be enough. And unfortunately it is a weak penalty, 100% the correct call but it's a call not made enough

If the DB had gone to Lewis and not the other way then it wouldn't have been a penalty as it should have been seen as Lewis defending his space. That's not what happened on that play but I believe that is the rule

Rules are rules. Lewis cannot remove the DB from his space.

Not really. Stamps forgetting to play defense changed the game. The hold was obviously missed, but the Esks gave it right back with the botched snap..

Hahahaha looked like he was down on the 1/4 yard line. That's on the command centre, not the refs

It was a penalty according to the rules but there is about 0% chance that it is called if it is Dressler instead of Lewis. The problem isn't so much the call but the lack of it being called in the CFL. If they called it all the time I would have a lot less of an issue with it.

Poor play from the Stamps offense but brutal reffing has made this game a lot closer than it should be.
