Hoping for the Patriots to win it all, but I'm expecting the Texans to take it home.

Because if he injures his spleen again, he's in serious trouble. And I suspect that most doctors would not have cleared him.

So he should never play again?
I mean the chances of him reinjuring will exist in perpetuity.

If he is cleared by a doctor, he is cleared. And i would suggest with the massive crackdown on player safety the NFL has instituted, that there is NO WAY a team would allow it if not assurred it was a minimal risk.

The massive crackdown is in words only. If they really cared about safety why is the schedule covered in Thursday games?

Both teams looking mighty sloppy right now. Giants should abandon the run and let Eli do it all.

It is only an issue when it isn't 100% healed.

Cleared doesn't mean it is safe though. Especially when the player, and probably the team, is pressuring the doctor to clear him.

Yeah this game almost feels preseason-esque. Pretty lame so far.

I see...so because there are Thursday games, that means that the NFL is BS'ing in regards to player safety. No real changes to concussion protocol because a team has to play twice in 5 days once a year. Doctors lying about players health just because there are Thursday games.

That's some sound logic for sure.

Who said anything about doctors lying about players health? Its very rare that you focus on what I or what most people say, you support your arguments by manufacturing intent.

I said player safety is just words to me ... or maybe a more fulsome answer is that care about safety as long as it doesn't rob them of primetime commercial sales. Its also maybe just a massive coincidence that the safety rhetoric comes after being slapped with tons of suits about player safety.

That probably gets in the way of questioning the logic ... so probably just best you stick to me saying that doctors are lying.
