Doug Berry was the old OC, Gary Etcheverry was the old DC. Bob Dyce is the OC right now, his offense is so bad that it is so easy to scheme against.

Right, Etch seemed wrong. I even just read an article that mentioned Berry today.
What is Khari Jones doing? QB coach?

Paul LaPolice used to be an Offensive Coordinator for the Riders, right? I think he was a Receiver Coach while Kent Austin was coaching then became an OC under Ken Miller in 2008 & 2009. The Riders was successful back then so are we going to see him back in Rider land anytime soon?

wow bad play calling with 1:20+ left in the game by Toronto. They are only down by 9 points and 3rd down and 4 I believed. Ricky Ray threw long instead of trying to get the first down first or even kick a field goal then an on-side kick. Well, Ricky Ray missed his receiver so turnover on down. Argos are just suck... I cannot believe the Stamps couldn't beat this team.

Yes, everyone in Saskatchewan bitched about Durant needing a QB coach last year. IMO it hasn't made a difference so why in the world was he hired?
Wally Bunono doesn't think much of Joe Mack's decision to can Paul LaPolice. http://www.tsn.ca/cfl/story/?id=403972

I dont think that you can kick a FG there. I didnt have the sound on when this came up, so I am unsure if the commentators brought it up. I believe the rule is that the team who gives up a FG has the option to either receive a kick-off or scrimmage from the 35. So a FG does give the ball back.
This happened in the Stamps game too when CGY gave up a FG in the 4th quarter, they didnt want SSK to kick off with the wind at their backs so they took the scrimmage.

You are right. If you recall the '09 Grey Cup in Calgary when SSK won the game, but took the too many men penalty allowing MTL a second shot at the FG. The camera instantly showed Paul LaPolice in the coach's box slamming his headphones around and having a total meltdown. Good Times.
I agree with you, my very first thought when I heard the news of LaPo being canned was that it should speed up the demise of the Chamblin in SSK. I think Paul would be a good fit.
Ironically, if they dont fire Chamblin right away, it would probably take a loss or two to Winnipeg coming up.

How many times does the Riders have to change Head Coach? I don't think Chamblin is the reason and he should stay. Get rid of the OC and replace him with LaPolice. Not that i want the Riders go back winning because i want them out of the playoff spot...i am just adding my two cents.

Agreed. IMO no chance chamblin gets fired. I don't think anyone is even talking about it.
OC and durant are definitely the biggest factors right now.

Well that was a great game, but such a disappointing finish. Three chances to get the ball into the end zone and they couldn't do it.

When you have no QB, pound the ball and with that defense they can potentially find success...
I bet Charles is released within the next few weeks

Well that was encouraging for the Riders. For the Bombers, not so much. Only half time though.
Elliott may or may not last in this league but he certainly does throw a nice tight spiral.
Nice mix from Durant of throw and runs.

That's my bet too..Charles will be released. I can't see Tillman releasing Cory Boyd because he would look like KLowe of the CFL. If you are going to ask me, i would rather keep Hugh Charles. IT don't matter how many good RBs they have anyways because without a QB, they are still not competitive enough. Only reason why the Eskimos won 5 games was because of their stingy defense.

The joke on Winnipeg team continues. I cannot believed Tim Burke did not challenge that call. It was clearly a completion and fumble after the Riders defense stripped it. Winnipeg's problem is definitely not LaPolice.. Winnipeg GM should just resign and admit he is the problem. No QB, player personnel suck..

Well, I hate to praise the Riders after bashing the ownership in the "Canada Could Support 16 more teams" thread but holy dinah this is a fun game to watch, if you're slanted towards the green side, of course.

Emmanuel Arceneaux and Solomon Elimimian have signed on to the Redskins practice roster and Browns practice roster, respectively.
As a Lions fan I would've loved to see them both back even though the Lions receiving corps are is very deep. Adam Bighill is doing really well at MLB and it'd be tough to replace him with Elimimian at this point, unless one of them wants to move to one of the LOLB or ROLB.

Sorry but due to your previous comments you've been ex-communicated from Rider Nation.
J/k of course.
Pure domination. Back to back fails on the kickoff receptions by the Bombers. That was very comedic.
