Sure, because banning guns means nobody has them...right....You guys just don't understand that there always will be guns, and a ban would meant the only people that have them are criminals, which means *gasp* the shootings would still happen.....What would your next soapbox rant be about at that point? Ban criminals? Guess what, murder is illegal, assault with a weapon is illegal, attempted murder is illegal, running drugs is illegal, assault is illegal, possession of a firearm without a licence is illegal, carrying a firearm in public without a permit is illegal, etc etc etc. None of that seems to matter to the criminal element, and that will never change. Take off your rose coloured glasses! You keep being a victim, some of the rest of us will champion for a wave of change that will see us gun owners receiving the respect we deserve for our responsible ownership and discharge. There's a pretty large contingent of the law enforcement community that agrees with side I'm presenting. There's a large contingent of the civilian community that agrees with the side I'm presenting. That's all I'm saying, I'm not an island...Except on this Calgary Flames discussion group, where I wouldn't expect everyone to understand anyhow
