Two players for Michigan were suspended for the game and didn't make the trip. I don't know what players but it was just stated on the radio. I think Bama wins by 17
Touissant and Frank Clark (backup DE). Alabama was going to win regardless, this might just boost it by a bit. Bama by 24.
The best part about this is that that scumbag Floyd Mayweather apparently has a few million on UM to cover.
Closer than it should be: Arkansas State 31 Oregon 44
I'm curious about this pick. I know they have that Aplin kid and that Malzahn was just hired as their head coach, but even with that do you really think they can put up 31 points against the Ducks? Keep in mind the Gus Malzahn led, Cam Newton powered offense was only able to put up 22 against an Oregon defense that isn't supposed to be as good as this years in the BCS game 2 years ago.
EDIT: Also in the last two years the only teams to put up 31 against Oregon at Autzen were USC (Barkely), Stanford (Luck), and surprisingly UCLA.

The only way I see that happening is if Oregon goes up 44-0 at the half and puts backups in the rest of the way. Actually it would have to be third stringers.

If the checks from Phil Knight were late getting there this week some of the Oregon players might resort to point shaving to help fund the lifestyles they are used to at Oregon.

Michigan will likely go with a combination Rawls and Smith at RB, neither one is as strong of a weapon as Toussaint. Smith a very small speed back and Rawls has the size of Toussaint but is unproven. Michigan is going to have big problems pounding the ball.
This Bama matchup was already an uphill battle it just got worse.
If Michigan wins its all on Denards legs and Roundtree at WR.
This matchup is so crucial for the entire Big 10. Because if the Wolverines get blown out the wins that Michigan gains over Big 10 rivals this season could ruin the rankings of those teams as well down the road.
Michigan has to at least keep the score close for the good of the Big 10.
The only hope I can have is that Bama goes into this game like they have already won it.

I don't see it impacting the Big 10 that much, Michigan isn't the best team in the Big 10 and Bama may very well be the best the SEC has. A blowout should be expected.

Well besides the fact I quite like Arkansas State, I think Oregon is the team in the top-10 I expect to be a disappointment this season. Lots of offseason turmoil and uncertainty, plus some pretty key players to replace. DeAnthony and Barner are electric but they can't do themselves.

Until Michigan beats MSU and their stingy defence I would rank it JMO.

MSU
Michigan
Wisc
OSU.
I'd probably go MSU, OSU, Wisco, UM right now, but without anybody seeing the field that's a pretty wild guess.
My point really is that UM shouldn't be expected to be carrying the flag for the Big Ten tonight, they aren't the team that's going to go into SEC territory (Dallas is pretty much going to be a home game for Bama) and make a statement. I don't know if MSU could with a new QB, but I'd like their chances a little bit more. Honestly the SEC is really just a step above the Big Ten.

Oregon had offseason turmoil? And beyond James and maybe Paulson I'm not sure they lost anyone who was that much of a key player.
Perhaps turmoil was the wrong word. But Chip Kelly did get one foot out the door, almost going to Tampa, and there's still the NCAA investigation hanging over them. I suppose its never quiet in Eugene anymore.

Its men against boys really. Hard to believe so many thought Michigan would give bama a game....cuz thus far its complete domination on both sides of the ball.
