I meant the hair gel thing. I bought 3 bottles of cologne from Zellers last weekend. (30% off, get there while you can!)
By long hair, I mean this. Without all the facial hair of course.

He plays (between waving to his mom in the stands, chatting to the other team and generally skating acting like the puck is a frozen package of ebola....) These fellas seemed to play ok with short hair

I am not fond of rules, and I have no respect for the status-quo. I wear my hair long because it is a big eff you to the status quo.

Anyone know if there rules preventing/"discouraging" doctors and nurses and psychologists and, oh, say, bereavement counselors dating their patients, or is this just unsubstantiated television or pop culture fluff?

At the very least it's extremely unethical. Each profession is governed by their own rules and they would be available on the governing body's website (eg. Alberta College of Physicians and Surgeons).

Is a blog excluded from libel? Does legit media have different rules? Or same rules regardless of the source?

Bloggers and forum posters, if they can be identified, are totally responsible for what they write. It's the same as if they wrote it in a newspaper or said it on-air.
