Updating thread titles

So I went to update the thread title for the government legislation on loud commercials and it didn't seem to work.

The weird part is that when I go into the thread it shows an updated title at the top of my post but at the top of the screen and from the main forum all I can see is the thread title pre-update.

Is there a statute of limitations for updating titles? I seem to remember old bumped threads frequently being updated in the past.

Yes. I had the same issue with one of my sales threads a while ago. I was informed by one if the mods that after a certain length of time it can't be updated.

Yeah there's a limit on it, I can't remember exactly how long but it's there.
