I am a huge fan of VdV and I thought 'Arry pulled off a hell of wheeldeal to bring him in, on the cheap no less, from Real. I wish he'd come to Liverpool.
I didnt think he was even interested in leaving. I'm actually more surprised that he doesnt get more playing time in his preferred position than he has.

I still think they're giving up on him too soon. But he doesnt fit Rodgers' style, so hopefully if they're shipping him out then thats a sign that they're committed to Rodgers and his tactics long-term.

Just got confirmed. Carroll to West Ham on a season-long loan. I'm okay that its just a loan, he needs playing time.
