Security guard it is. Actually I am 99% sure he is either a Brinks armoured car guy or works security in a hospital where I have seen them wear a vest.
Regardless his evasiveness makes him seem like he is completely full of crap and my guess is his experience is closer to someone taking a swing at him than being in a perceived life-or-death struggle. Even if he was he is making the assumption that everyone who carries a weapon is actually trained in how to use it safely and effectively something that he can not guarantee to be the case.

I'm betting firing range officer. Depending on where he works, I bet I know who it is too.

I'm sure he just wants people to keep fawning over his job, so I'll jump on the bandwagon and assume he's mall security. I know of a guy at WEM and he talks about the pitfalls of trying to prevent people from jumping into the submarine tank. It's a tough racket.

A moving target on a crowded street is hard to hit with a handgun regardless of HOW much they are trained.
Not sure what you expect them to do. The shooter had proven himself to be a threat and they were probably given orders to shoot to kill.

You're a clown. Congrats on derailing another thread to feed your massive ego.

Clown was also incorrect . My comment was simply pointing out that trained firearms handlers aren't immune to poor judgment/execution, and to debunk the second amendment comment that was irrelevant. My qualification for having this opinion was questioned (I have never asked anyone else the same, not have I called names or resorted to personal attacks), so I answered as best as I'm comfortable, and will leave the slew of reactions as they are..this is a forum, we can discuss, we won't always agree, but you have no reason to doubt my claims based on the fact I'm unwilling to divulge personal info about my occupation. I'm not here to make stuff up, and am unsure of what this has to do with my ego. If it was I'd have pictures of myself in uniform in my avatar, my username would reflect it, my Sig would say it, and I'd talk about it all the time. Alas I'm here as a flames fan, taking part in a primarily political discussion because I'm bored. I'm simply sharing anonymous personal experiences of situations I think we can agree few people will be in. Make more sense?
