What kind of stick do you use for outdoor ball hockey?

I've been getting rather annoyed at the cheap $15 plastic street blade ones because who are we kidding that stick sucks! Is it worth buying a shaft and then just putting a street hockey blade on it? Or should I just buy a once piece? Any suggestions would be welcomed.

You can still find wooden sticks, I think pro hockey life carries some. Go old school. Cut of the blade and use your dad's drill to screw on a plastic blade

~$20 at PHL. Wooden shaft with ABS blade. They also sell just the blades if you want to go the two-piece route.

This. I use a CCM Vector 2. Wood with ABS blade. They're heavy, so like UCB & chalms said get an ABS blade and use in a composite shaft
