You are weak at RB.

MJD is still holding out and Turner is not going to see as many carries this year. Spiller might be a good play, depending if Buffalo gives him more carries like they said they would.

Also you kind of wasted a pick going with 2 Def.

1st Draft. Full PPR. 12 team keeper league. Kept Welker, White, Jennings

QB-Ryan
RB-SJax
RB-Kevin Smith
WR-White
WR-Jennings
WR-Welker
Flex-Dez Bryant
TE-Cook
K-Alex Henry
DEF-Houston

Bench
Josh Freeman
Dexter Mcluster
Jaquizz Rogers
Benjarvis Green Ellis
Denarious Moore
Lestar Jean
Lance Kendricks
Chiefs D

Running back issues for sure, will be checking the wire for more and dropping Chiefs D. Not sure why I took them last and not another position player. Big Jared Cook fan this year and can get him late most of the time.

12 team keeper league...I'm drafting 6th overall and the following players will be available:

Foster
Rice
Rodgers
McFadden
Chris Johnson
Brees
Forte

I'm assuming the first three on the list will be gone for sure, how would you rank the last 4?

edit - Fitzgerald, Stafford, Charles also available, but probably not worth a 1st rounder

Also, any suggestions for a good NFL fantasy magazine?

I wouldn't be surprised if Forte and Johnson were both gone before you pick, depending on what the 5 before you need. I would rank them Forte, Johnson, Brees, McFadden.

I kind of like Johnson and McFadden over Forte because they don't have a legit second string like M. Bush to steal carries. Of course Johnson's inconsistency and McFadden's injury tendencies are scary

I had McFadden last year, but if you pick him you better handcuff him. When he was healthy he was a beast.

Forte should still get plenty of looks even with Bush, though I do think Bush will take away the goal line work.

Why do people keep thinking Forte's value is going to go down because Bush is there? He never gets goal line work anyway. His career rushing TD numbers per year are 8, 4, 6, 3 with passing TD numbers 4, 0, 3, 1. Numbers were starting from his rookie year. He is 1000-1200 yard rusher 450-600 yard receiver. His value, IMO, remains the same. Bush will do the grunt short yardage work when need be and Forte will continue to break out some runs and be great catching out of the backfield.

Who were your keepers?

I'd rank the last 4 McFadden, Forte, CJ, Brees. I think McFadden is worth the gamble. Although having a decent back up for the games he's going to miss is important. If he does somehow play all 16 games, or even 15, I think he's going to be the top producing RB this year. I'm also high on Charles as a 2nd or 3rd rounder if you can get him. Very similar to Forte as my arguement above, he was never a goal line back anyway, so Hillis isn't going to eat into any of Charles value.

I have a keeper dilemma.

I can keep either MJD in the 2nd round (tail end of the 2nd round, 23rd overall pick) or Carolina's Steve Smith in the 13th round.
Obviously Smith would be a great value, but he's 33 and inconsistent. MJD would normally be a steal at 23 overall but we all know the issues there.
If it wasn't a 12 person draft I'd def be keeping Smith and hoping MJD drops to 23 anyways but in all my mock drafts he's going early-mid second round and never drops to me and I'm left with garbage.

Thoughts?

Definitely go with Smith. You can draft a much safer player in rd 2 than MJD. This is a low risk move

I actually think it's the presence of Brandon Marshall that could take touches away from Forte more than anything. This is a guy who should catch 40 more balls than any WR the Bears had last year.

Also the injury from last year and new contract starting this year...that scares me off too.

10 team money league, I think im the only one who's played fantasy football before. I drafted 8th

QB: E. Manning, M. Vick
RB: McCoy, Chris Johnson, Wells
WR: Jennings, Nicks, Austin, Floyd, Holmes, Moore
TE: Cook, Pettigrew
K: Crosby
D: Eagles

Weirdest draft I've ever been in with Peyton Manning going #2 overall and most teams having 2 D & 2 K

McGahee, Donald Brown and Demaryius Thomas. No elite level talent, but they cost 7th, 16th and 17th round picks respectively so I think I got good value.

I'm hoping for Charles as my 2nd round pick but doubt he'll slide that far. I had CJ the last 3 years so I couldn't keep him again, one of the best and worst backs to own, no consistency.

My B Team...7th pick OA
QB: Brady
RB: D Murray
RB: D Sproles
WR: J Nelson
WR: D Bryant
WR: T Young
TE: A Hernancez
K: J Hanson
Def: Packers

BN- K Britt
BN- S Moss
BN- K Smith
BN- S Vereen
BN- B Celek
BN- M Schaub

Like my bench, but not happy with my WR unless Britt plays like started off last year. If he does that then I am stoked with this team. Vereen could be my super sleeper if he plays the regular season like he has in camp.
