A man charged with breaking into LL Cool J's home Wednesday morning faces a long prison sentence if convicted because of his previous convictions, the prosecutor's spokeswoman said Thursday.
Jonathan Kirby, 56, suffered a broken nose, jaw and ribs when he encountered the muscular rapper-actor inside his Sherman Oaks, California, home, according to Los Angeles County District Attorney spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons.
Reminds me of a news story in Calgary back in the 80s. A guy broke into a house and encountered a kick boxer. The reporter asked the kick boxer what happened and he said something like "I woke up hearing my door being smashed in, so I got up and went to the door. The guy got in, but did he ever pick the wrong house. He left in an ambulance".
I don't find anything impressive about beating up a 56 year old out of shape man. My Grandmother could of given and equal whoopin'.
I much prefer this to the intruder getting shot. Nobody deserves to die for an unarmed break and enter, but a good ass-whooping seems to be a pretty fair consequence to me.

Don't wanna die? don't take your life in your hands by robbing someones home. To me an intruder in my home is a life and death situation.
