I think the Patriots are there on the 14th of October. Probably the best chance I'll ever get to watch Brady live.

Holy smokes, did he ever. Everything that could go right for the Seahawks did go right. I feel bad for Flynn but no one ever said life was fair. I think Wilson will start the regular season.

Flynn also has a sore arm, so Wilson could be there for that reason alone.
He undoubtedly had a good game, but so did the defense, as did special teams. Certainly a lot of promise there.
Interesting to see what they do with Tavares. Owens too....who had a good catch, but a couple more drops.

It sounded like they wanted to see what Wilson could do with their top unit. After that game I don't think you can tell him he didn't earn the oppurtunity to keep playing in that spot.

It will be interesting to watch this. 2 inches of height are why Wilson wasn't in the top 10 according to some guys on the Sirius NFL channel. The thing with a smaller QB is that DB's and LB's have a hard time reading the eyes of a QB who's hiding behind linemen.

I must be the most hopeless of homers. Looking around at various, presumably knowledgeable, sports prognosticators the Seahawks get no love, like ... none. I think the 'Hawks are better than the .500 team being predicted and may well take the division if the Niners stumble or run into key injuries. The gurus talk about SF like they are a perennial powerhouse like the Pat's or Packers but prior to last year they stunk for multiple years previous. People forget that Alex Smith has been a mediocre quarterback his entire career until last year when it all seemed to come together. Last year might have been an anomaly and he'll to straight back to sucking like every other year.

Further, the 'Hawks have a very good and (should be) improving defence and their O line is way better than last year. Finally, while Wilson and Flynn are not proven entities by any stretch both are an upgrade from Jackson. This should all add up to more wins. Well it better anyway. Go Hawks Go!

I do think the Niners with a 1st place schedule will come back to earth just a bit. Smith is still a wildcard. The 49'ers defense though should hold them in enough games.

Seattle just has to win some of those close games that they lost year and keep the heat on SF. They were within a TD or less in the 4th quarter in most of their losses last year, but then ran out of gas. With upgrades at QB and WR that side of things should be better. Lynch is still the key, and now with a big contract, there's always the Shaun Alexander syndrome to be aware of, and he has to be as good as last year, or else.

On the defense, hopefully there will be more of a pass rush from the line, and the LB's are able to stop the run. I think the Seahawks secondary will no longer be able to fly under the radar as they did last year and teams will prepare for them.

Well, they almost pulled off a big road "W" today against a division rival. I thought Wilson showed a lot of poise in the second half, and for the most part put the ball where it needed to be. On to week 2 and the home opener against America's bandwagon.

Thud! Back down to earth with that stinker. Wilson had no protection in the first half and had a ton of nerves. D allowed Fitzgerald to rape them yet again. Meanwhile, the Niners roll on. Ugh, terrible week one.

Oh yeah, they better get the real refs back because these old grinders are well beyond their 'best before' dates.

Good game. D played real well, fast and physical. Running game in the second half was dominant.

Good to see Lynch back in "Beast Mode". And when was the last time all 4 NFC West teams manage to win on the same weekend?!

Unfortunate ending to the game, and a win that certainly feels tainted. However, Seahawk fans like myself know what it means to get screwed by the refs. I'll see your Monday Night regular season game and raise you a Super Bowl XL.

Seahawks dont get a charity ref win tonight, they should be 1-3 now... Pete Carrel acting like he won the super bowl last week, what a tool

Yawn.
Obviously don't watch a lot of the exuberance in a bottle that is Pete Carrel Carroll week in a week out, or saw the 67k people going just as nuts on Monday, as any fans would with a game ending play that goes in your team's favour.

Today's lost frustrating because the incredible defense again gives up no TD's, but gets little support. The pass rush and 2nd best run defense in the league, has turned this into a top 4 overall defense, and has caught up to the secondary that was already good last year, for a potent combo.

The Rams kicked FG's of 60,58,48 and a shorter one, and faked a FG for their only TD, totalling all their poitns. Full credit to that kicker...SEA may win that previous years because of those 58 and 60 yarders weren't going to be kicked by Josh Brown.

Time to start thinking about Flynn and giving Wilson a bit of a break. Wilson is holding onto the ball too long, and seemingly moving around a little too much within the pocket...maybe his height from trying to see a path to a receiver and since he can't see over, he has to move. Whatever it is, that's time that he doesn't really have, and either takes a sack, a hit as throwing, or rushes a throw; any of which aren't that desirable. 3 INT's, practically no long gains outside of Lynch (going over 100 yds again) in the passing game.

That said, had a chance to win it again with the last possession, just like last week and Week 1. Moved the ball down the field 35 yards, in the last 2:30 of the game, only to have McCoy slip and fall at about the 35 and the 3rd INT for St. L as a result with a minute to go.

SEA now lost to 2 division opponents already (on the road mind you), and with Miami gifting ARI the win, and the Jets being the Jets, Seattle at the bottom of the arguably best division (record wise so far at least) in the NFC and maybe the league.
