At a different forum that I used to post at, there was an automatic bot-mod thing that would make a thread outing a returning poster. "XYZ is posting from the same IP as ABC", for example. Thus shaming the returning poster into acting like less of a dbag. It was usually pretty funny.

Well how much do you value anonymity? It could be a forum where you have to login using a Facebook account. Other than that, it's easy to mask an IP address, and some people really do have nothing better to do, than to troll Internet message boards.
