How is life in Conklin? I will be leaving for the fall to work there. Is there all the essential services (grocery store, pharmacy, medical clinic, clothing store, etc.)

It's a thriving metropolis of about 200 people and counting.

I think there's a gas station, a bar and a post office there.

No medical clinic? I'd hate to have a medical problem. Nearest place for help would be an hour or more away in Ft.McMoney.

How is it the Trailer Park Boys never ended up in Fort Mac? I know Fubar 2 took place there, but we all know Ricky, Julian and Bubbles would have been gold in that town.

A friend of mine just started working up there as a pipefitter after doing IT off and on for the past 10 years or so. The only other job I've known him to have is working on cruise ships. I think he is in his 2nd trip up there now. Not sure how long he will last.
