Without a doubt, THE ####tiest mall I have ever been to. I lived in Fort Mac for almost 2 years (not in a camp, in the city). The only way I can describe it to people who have never been is that it's basically a mini Edmonton except crappier because there is absolutely nothing to do. I don't regret going up there but I will never go back.

I swear, I see more white cars in Alberta than BC.

No kidding. Manitoba has no white cars compared to Alberta. I thought I was the only one who noticed that.

There were some good pictures but he definitely started the article with an agenda. I really can't figure out why it is a bad thing that oil companies donated money towards building a leisure centre. And Slide 22 states that the wives take whatever job they can find. That seems to imply that the wives have trouble finding jobs rather than the opposite as I understand it.

And to contribute to the more important portion of this thread, I know a lot of people who simply call it McMurray.

I don't know about white cars, but white trucks are easier to get and the colour is consistent from year to year if you are buying for a fleet.

I like Fort Mac. I've worked up there a few times. I prefer CalGary though.
