Man I love The Who. Surprised they couldn't get The Rolling Stones, but The Who are better performers this day and age.

So now the 300 events go dark for the next four years, right? Aside from basketball, soccer, and tennis the other sports only meet then, correct?

Really, only about 4 months until we seriously start talking about who makes team canada. Earlier if the start of the season gets all fracked up.

The Winter Olympics needs more events to compete with the standards of the Summer games. That goes double if the NHL players aren't there.
They really should look into adding more events to the winter games. It just doesn't have nearly the same feeling as the Summer games.

They've already added more events.. there's only so much one can do on ice.
I can't think of anything new.

Why do all the events have to be on snow or ice? I never fully understood that.
Most of the Summer events are held indoors anyway, so why not move some of those events over to the Winter games?

Best piece of the Olympics - Eric Idle actually getting away with singing "Life's a piece of ####" in his Python routine.

Yes. Stupid math.
Hard to believe it's already been two and half years since Vancouver.

-Sad the Olympics are over already. they were happy and glorious.
-Overall, I would give London a 9.9 0ut of 10. Awesome Hosts!
-The best of British Music? you dropped the ball big time on this London!
-Note to RIO: Please make your opening/closing ceremonies less than 3+ Hrs long!
-Best Moment of London 2012: Brian May guitar solo/medley...Awesome!!!
-Worst Moment of London 2012: Posting Canada 3rd in 4x100 prematurely.
PS: I believe the "I believe" song will be with us for decades too come, If they had any sense they would adopt the 88 winter Olympic theme by David Foster cuz it's still as awesome as it was 24 years ago.
