I still chuckle when I think about million dollar hockey players still having a union in today's day and age. Even the worst off hockey players are pulling in 525k. The premise is that you have job security if you qualify as being the best in the world at what you do - simply strive for that and you've got nothing to worry about. But, I digress.

I dunno. Imagine all the HNIC doubleheaders they could do from Hamilton and Abbotsford!

The 12-game ticket packages allow fans to choose the games of their choice at a significant savings.
Pricing for 12-game ticket plans start at just $26 per game.
There are no blackout dates when choosing games for the 12-game plan.
How can investors resist the profits?

Well, the good news is that Monday is still 5 days away. Plenty of time for Glendale to figure things out!

The sale is really immaterial at this point. It's like getting a huge infection and cutting off your leg to save your body, only the infection will spread anyway. Jamison buying the team won't suddenly turn Phoenix into a good hockey market and in 3 years when he's lost 100~ or so million dollars the team will move.
Until then tho, ya, good news. I want to travel to Phoenix this winter/fall or maybe the spring and a hockey game would be cool.

It's possible if the new NHLPA union contract is good enough, Jamison could get more investors. The team is stuck in Phoenix for another season anyways, so I don't see any reason he has to put together a deal this summer. Bettman can make all the deadlines he wants but if a deal happens sometime this winter, he won't turn it down.
The only fly in the ointment that I see is if the COG's new council reneges on the deal. Anyone know if they can?

Don't forget that there's a Glendale Council turnover in November which could greatly affect the city's cooperation with Jamison and the NHL if the deal isn't done by then.

Glendale has few options on Jobing.com Arena
With or without Coyotes, taxpayers will pay millions

The people willing to invest now will be rewarded later if the team actually sticks around.
My Stanley Cup Finals tickets in LA were 30 bucks. The time to buy season tickets is when a franchise is struggling.

30 bucks for finals tickets? Damn! That would barely cover parking for a finals game anywhere in Canada!

Are posts such as this being serious or as a troll attempt. Not sure.

Sure you can, we all operate under the same cap and same financial rules. That's not a troll attempt at all, it's a statement about the sign of the economy if that's the case.
