I anticipate Walt saying 'Say hello to my little friend' at some point in the next 10 episodes.

Or else Marie tells Hank about Skylar and Ted and he goes to confronts Ted in some misguided attempt to stick up for Walt and Ted says something to Hank that raises some red flags for him.
I'm not sure if Skylar will directly confront Walt. She seems legitimately afraid of him. It's clear she didn't approve of what he did to Gus, that she doesn't want to sleep in the same bad as him and most of all that she doesn't want him to move back in, yet she's avoid confronting about all these topics. Before she found out he was a killer, she'd confront him directly about anything he did that she didn't agree with -- which is one of the things that made her such a hated character among many viewers. Now all the anger just built up in her until she exploded on someone else, in this instance, Marie. So with that in mind, I don't think she'd go after Walt. I think instead we'll see her slip into a deep depression constantly lashing out at everyone but Walt. And Marie, being the big mouth she is, will tell everyone about Ted and they'll all assume it's marital trouble. Meanwhile everyone watching will know the real cause, and it'll just further our disdain for Walt.

Exactly. By the end of the show Walt's transformation into Heisenburg should be complete. That's the direction the show has been going right from the first episode and to end it any other way would be a cop-out in my opinion. By series' end, he should be a detestable character. And I welcome that. It really makes the point that power, money and crime corrupt absolutely, no matter who you are.

I'm surprised it has taken until now for someone to blow up on Marie. I was yelling "shut-up" at my TV before Skylar took over... then I cheered for her.

OT, but I witnessed a breakdown like that in public before. I was at Wal-mart around Christmas time and a lady started picking up CDs and throwing them and yelling; "It's good to give the gift of music", over and over while her teenaged daughter cried. The daughter looked so shocked and had no idea why it was happening (she kept saying "why are you doing this... what's wrong?"). Skylar's breakdown mirrorred it quite well.... the way it built up. I think it was a good display of acting ability actually.

I don't get that ending. Is it implying that the end is near? Jesse is a ticking time bomb?

I've gone from hating Jesse and sympathizing for Walter to really liking Jesse and hoping he comes out of it ok while Walter probably needs to go. It shows the strengh of writing for this show that I've come full circle and now really don't like who Walter is anymore.

Yikes.

Just like Mike handle the business.

Of course we get the benefit of seeing everything, but Jesse and Walt really made the wrong decision there. Lydia is unstable at the least and backstabbing at the worst.

As for NTB ^^^ most of us felt that way at the end of season 2. As bad as Walt is though, he isn't entirely evil or hopeless. But yeah, as I argued before this season started, he is not just a bad guy... he is THE BAD GUY. He's the villain of the series.

My favor for Skyler is faltering a bit. Now she is just being too much of a victim. Either get with the program, or fight back.

Time is ticking for Walt I think. I thought the final seen was amazing. As the sound of the ticking watched intensified, the final "tick" was the sound of a gun being cocked.

Quick question, but is the exterminating company actually bothering to fumigate the houses after Walt and Jesse are finished cooking up their new batch?

You would figure this won't work on in the long run if the house owners find out the exterminators are not actually doing their job.

Jesse and Walt start the bombing as they're leaving, it didn't show it this week, but all these houses are actually getting bombed.

Yeah, I saw them releasing the chemicals last week, but I thought was just the gas being produced during the process of cooking the meth. But I guess that was just them bombing the house. Unless you can kill bugs using meth fumes...

Of course it's how they chose to tell the story! The point is speculation!

I used to hope Jesse would get knocked off, now I don't really care, he doesn't bug me anymore. I hope Walt deals with Skyler, somehow gets the kids looked after and ends up like Tony Montana holed up in his mansion. Then when Hank and the DEA are closing in he can have his "Say hello to my little friend" moment with that big ass gun we saw him buying

Nice catch, didn't notice that the first time.

Skylar was looking very suicidal that episode. I wonder if she goes through with it if it will just be her, or if she will take the kids too. I know she wants to protect them from Walt, but some of these real life cases of infanticide seem to be from parents thinking that what they are doing is what's best for them.

The thing I am still not sure about is if the opening of episode 1 is from the end of the series or the just the end of the first half of the season.

Almost certainly the first half.

The first half likely hangs on a cliffhanger of a shootout.

Aaron Paul said on twitter months ago that this season was super bloody.

The line from Skylar about waiting for the cancer to come back was chilling, cold, and haunting. Amazing scene.
