Athletics get underway in the Olympic Stadium when men’s shot put begins! The preliminary round starts at 10:00 and the final is at 20:30. Canada’s Dylan Armstrong missed a medal in Beijing by just one centimetre!
10:24 Men’s 1500m Freestyle Swimming Heats, Aquatic Centre
Watch Ryan Cochrane, the bronze medalist in Beijing in 2008, as he competes for a place in tomorrow’s final. Ryan has twice won silver medals in the World Championships and is a good contender for a medal.
14:00 Men’s individual trampoline, qualifications, North Greenwich Arena
Competition gets underway today, and Jason Burnett of Etobicoke, Ontario – our silver medallist from Beijing – will represent Canada. The final begins at 15:26.
19:30 Women’s 200m backstroke, Final, Aquatic Centre
Sinead Russell of Oshawa, Ontario is in the finals at the Aquatics Centre after an eighth-place semi-final ranking.
