Sopranos Season Six
Im surprised there is no thread regarding the Sopranos premiere last night, so I thought I would start one and hopefully, it can stay alive throughout the season.
First episode last night in 21 months, and man, did they come out with a bang. I thought the episode was probably the best season premiere since the series premiere, and God, what an ending, I cant wait till next Sunday.
Thoughts????

Absolute proof that this is the best show ever made. What an opener! There are so many subtle little touches that make this show amazing.
I was going to start a thread last night, so thanks for doing it!

My favorite part of the episode last night, when TOny is complaining, "God, can I never catch a break?!?!?" Then, the next scene, Ray Curto is in the agents car givin her info on Tony and a murder and then he dies right then, right there. Awesome

That episode was awesome. I was not expecting so much to happen right off the bat. How many echoed my same WTF! When they showed A looking over the house with Carmella?

How about that subtle little plug when Vito grabs the hot dog and eats it! You know that is going to be addressed one way or another. Could we be seeing Meadow's fiancee getting killed?

Yeah, it was pretty awesome, except I missed the first 15 minutes because for some reason the idots at Shaw turned my movie channels off for some reason while I was away this weekend. I got home right at 9:00 and had to wait on hold for 15 minutes to get them turned back on.
Man do I hate Shaw.

I also loved right at the beginning where Vito was doing that photo shoot for some weight loss thing. He's standing there holding his old "fat pants" and smiling. Haha.

I think that ship has sailed, I highly doubt the Vito/Finn thing is over, but the writers have shocked us all before, like last night. But the thing with the hot dog was massive.

I'm sure it will be back when this sixth season is over. I've read that there are 20 episodes left, 12 starting last night, and the final 8 starting in January

It was a great eposide. When my wife saw Adriano in the beginning she was totally confused. Tony getting shot was interesting considering all the talk the Vito did about him being the top earner and become boss.

To be honest, what I found interesting about what vito said was when he told eugene, "god forbid, tony gets a heart attack." I have a gut feelin that eventually, this is how Tony is goin to die. Given tony's weight and diet, I mean would anyone be surprised.

I gotta agree, it was a great episode. Artie's speech about re-connecting worked for me too, watching the Soprano's is like hooking up with an old friend, it feels like I was watching season 5 yesterday!
Oh, and Meadow dancing in the opening montage didn't hurt either.....

Are you sure it was a hot-dog? with his request for hot water and lemon, it seemed like he is sticking to his diet. It looked to me he looked over the junk food and grabbed a cigar... looked nothing like a hot dog, besides buddy brought in burgers and fries, no hot dogs there...
other than that yeah there are tonnes of subtle touches throughout the show that go back to when the series started.
i noticed the dirtylook that Benny (Doogies pal vinny) gave phil when he was at the pork store
