Another excellent game tonight by the A's. Blackley was very good. Still cannot believe the A's are in the wild card hunt, they've used 10 rookie pitchers and 17 rookies overall. 26-9 since June 10th, 15-2 in July now.

I'm really down on Romero...depressing season from him. What the heck happened to him? Has the league "figured him out," so to speak? Just going to be a bad year?

He lacks confidence. I recently watched an interview with him and he even said he doesn't know what is going on and why he is having a bad season.

What a disastrous season for the Jays. I can't believe the number of injuries this season. Ugh. I wonder what their record would have been with a full season of Santos, Morrow, Hutchison, Drabek, Bautista, Frasor, and now JPA. Just a ludicrous amount of injuries.
