I know, I know - some of you haven't watched "Citizen Kane" yet! On the other hand, this is the 21st century: if you haven't watched something, and it was on more than a year ago, your expectation that everyone will refrain from referring to events in that show as though they were common knowledge is horrendously misplaced.

I'm conflicted. On one hand you've ruined Citizen Kane for me. On the other hand, I agree with who about whiners who bitch about "spoilers". I guess I better thank that post lest I be grouped in with the whiners.
So I just finished powering through Mad Men seasons 1-5 and I have to say I am really impressed with the show. It was a real treat watching Pete get his ass handed to him by Lane. That smarmy ####### has had that coming for a long time. Sad to see Lane commit suicide but I saw that coming. Roger taking LSD was hysterical.

She wasn't like Betty until she quit SCDP. Now, I'm not so sure. I mean she isn't annoying. But now she's could slide into the housewife to provide for role while we get 1960 era Don Draper again.

I'm a little late on this one. And I actually wanna talk more about season 4. See I missed all of season 4 and for some reason watched the first 6 episodes of season 5 when they originally aired and only had a chance to catch up on season 4 in the last week and now I can watch the rest of season 5 that I have on my PVR.
Few things:
I'm really enjoying the relationship between Peggy and Don. It seems there aren't a lot of true friendships on this show but I think they may have something. I just pray that it never gets romantic between them, that would ruin it.
The sight gag when his secretary dies and they show us the meeting with Megan, Pete et al in the background trying to get rid of the body was hilarious.
The streak of episodes when Don finds out that the Cali woman (forget her name) is dying and his whole alcoholism thing with losing that whole weekend because he was on a bender to him breaking down in front of Peggy was probably 2 or 3 of the best (they kinda blur together because I watched so many in a row) episodes so far.
Betty is a grade A ####. They really made her into a villain.
Elizabeth Moss (Peggy) has gotten hotter and hotter throughout the 5 seasons. Interesting too the way her character has evolved because she's become more confident along the way and that may be it. I'm not sure if she's actually more attractive or if it is just that her personality is now more appealing and that makes her better looking.
Having already seen half of season 5 I'm a little, what's the right word here, confused? at the the way that the agency was in dire straits at the end of season 4 but to my recollection season 5 starts and money is no longer an issue. Maybe I'm just not remembering properly because when I first saw season 5 I didn't know about the fact their agency was in trouble so I may have simply not picked up on things like that.
Her name is Anna Draper. And Anna, was the only person (perhaps aside from Peggy) who really knows Don/Dick. The mask he wears to so many different people, Anna knew him completely aside from that. And while I'm still not convinced that Peggy can, I defiantly thinks she can see through the cracks.

Or perhaps you just got drunker and drunker the more you watched and got overpowered by your beer goggles.
Peggy (Elizabeth Moss) and the word hot(ter) should never appear in the same sentence. Perhaps you meant to say she got less unattractive throughout the 5 seasons.
I'm just teasing you..... but I'm serious about her being fugly though.

I've found Megan's character to be annoying lately.

I was actually thinking about this last night as I watched episodes 7-11 of season 5.
Peggy has been getting more attractive but she's not hot.
I got to the part where Peggy quit. I was like WTF?
Then the Joan storyline with the fat #### from the Dealer Association from Jaguar. Loved the way they showed us that part in a non-linear fashion. I was so mad at her for doing that.
Oh and when Betty tries to be a bitch about Anna and Sally tells her mom that Don spoke fondly of her. Loved it. I hate Betty.
And I laughed at Roger's racist line when talking to Ginsberg. Something like Roger saying "they make wine for Jewish people and now they want to start making it for normal people".
Ginsberg telling Don he feels sorry for him and Don replying "I don't think about you at all".

Sterling's got the best lines on TV.
"You don't know how to drink. Your whole generation, you drink for the wrong reasons. My generation, we drink because it's good, because it feels better than unbuttoning your collar, because we deserve it. We drink because it's what men do."

Well I suppose I'm at fault for replying to your reply I made months ago
My original intent was that she wasn't at Betty Francis levels of annoying, but slipping down that slope.
Happy now Captain Sassypants?
Take it easy.
I simply replied to your post that said she wasn't annoying by saying I think she is annoying. You're the one who got all defensive with your "hence I said she got annoying" remarks when you clearly said she wasn't annoying.
All you had to say was you changed your mind since then.
The baby part of your username suits you well.

It does doesn't it.
