Hey, I agree, they are pretty nice for sure! But if those are the best you have done, and it has taken how many hundreds (thousands) of rolls to get it, is it truly worth it?
And maxes are 10 crit chance, 50 crit damage, 80 all resist, 9 IAS (just to name some). Those gloves fall into the "VERY cool" category, not necessarily godly.
I won't be playing that lottery though. And I cannot recommend that anyone having trouble advancing should go buy any plans and start crafting to try to get ahead. It just ain't worth it.
Not to mention that a Legendary (Set?) buff is rapidly approaching that should (hopefully) balance out rare items (might we see iLvl 63 ones?). In D2 I couldn't care less about rares. let alone blues; so far in D3, it is the exact opposite unfortunately.
Oh, and one last note, your cost to craft those is actually much better than say the Grand Orbit Stones (which if you do desire, I have learned...) Odd the imbalance there.
I like that crafting and gold carries over to your other heroes in this game. This has made crafting more worthwhile for me while I level lower level characters in the game. not quite at the point of crafting super high level items yet though but this has made crafting more interesting for me anyways.

Farm Act 1 with decent MF gear. You will likely get better rolls on the items that do drop, you will die less and ultimately you will find enough gear (or gold) to upgrade enough for Act II..
i just want to reiterate... I crafted 30 gloves today before I left for hockey.. I Kept 7 of them to re-sell ... Well here are the results. This was the highest priced pair that sold... The lowest priced on to sale was 6.00... so lets just say I sold all of them for 6 bucks .. after fees I bank 4.45 or so... so roughly I made 23 bucks or so crafting 30 items. I could have sold for Gold and made 20-30 mil but hey, I wanted Diablo to buy me Lunch next week... HERE I COME QDOBA!
Edit: Since I wrote this I have since sold 2 more for 13 bucks .. so close to 40 bucks for crafting 30 gloves.. This is obviously not normal but even getting 10 bucks out of 30 is pretty lucrative.

Making them for profit makes sense.
Making them for yourself doesn't.

I wonder if they'll be able to detect this to ban the exploiters.
Edit: This is just a guess since I am not educated about how Warden works, other than it mainly monitors external hack programs
I dont think Warden works like that, as it monitors hacks to the code like dll or data stream stuff. Since this is essentially skill use in game, there is no way to track it without a change to Warden.
At that point, it makes more sense to just fix the exploit.

From a database point of view they might though, if they record what you cast and when you cast it, what mobs were killed where and when. Their data mining to tell what's being used a lot and what's being a little suggests that they do track that kind of thing, but I don't know if they track it for all users (which seems excessive), or just representative sample (in which case it's a good chance you'd not get caught).
Basically mine the database for specific patterns.
Never thought about client side.

New invulnerable wizard exploit. This was shared by IGN in hopes of getting blizzards attention to patch it.
In a post on the official forums, user Doso explained how to become invincible by doing the following:
Step 1: Select Teleport - Fracture. Bind it to a key
Step 2: Select Archon, tested with Improved Archon
Step 3: Hover your mouse over or near your charcter
Step 4: Press Teleport
Step 5: QUICKLY(!) Press Archon
People are using this exploit to farm Inferno
Yeah I tried it about an hour ago. Worked perfectly. Was invincible and immune to everything except for the spell that locks you in place. Even then, didn't matter because I was invincible heh. But they're probably patching now. Servers went down not long ago hahah.
Too bad I can't take advantage of this, but at least hoping for the AH prices to drop, but then again people are reporting crap loot even in act 4 inferno so...
Seems they fixed it without patching. I actually can stilll go invincible while in Archon mode, but after that it's back to being crappy ol' vulnerable me.
Found another legit 1 hand mace last night. 900 dps, 198 vit, 195dex, 45% crit dmg. I think I'm just going to go into act 2 now. My monk has 28 k dps, 800 all res and just over 40 k life with about 500-600 life on hit. If I can't do act 2 now I should hang up the ol' gaming cleats and go take up competitive cribbage.
Exploit for Barbs, this one is as crazy as the Wizard one.
Seems pretty complicated.
1) Equip the Dreadnought Rune in Furious Charge.
2) When facing spider-woman minor boss Cydea in Act 3, Part 5, Furious Charge at Cydea before her dialogue cutscene begins. The 8% life leech of Furious Charge with the Dreadnought Rune should now be permanent, giving the life-steal on all attacks
It amazes me how people can figure these things out. I could see the Wizard bug happening on pure coincidence. I'm pretty sure fracture and archon are regularly-used spells. But that Barb one..where does that even come from?
Anyway this exploit requires me to be in Act 3, which I will probably never reach in Inferno. I'm pretty much mired in normal-Hell (though happily so), where this exploit is pointless.
