I believe in the Jays.

That was wild.
Lewis was a beast, but Forzani was awful.

This is why I LOVE CFL!!! No lead is safe until the whistle blows.
Our offense played well this game but the penalties and dropped pass prevented us from scoring some points. The defense was awful early but started picking up their play when Brandon Smith went down in the 2nd half. Perfect timing though because they shut down Durant in the 4th quarter down by 17 points and ended up winning. Charleston Hughes was the best D tonight and on offense, hats off to Kevin Glenn. I thought he played well. If we can just get rid of the dumb penalties and dropped passes, i think we can see this team win a lot of games.
I am so happy that won especially against the Riders. Woooohoooo!!!!

Glad I woke up in time to see the end of that. The final 30 plays of the game had enough excitement for an entire weeks worth of games. And lol Riders.

First time ever at McMahon Stadium as I am visiting friends/family in Calgary. Didn't care who won or lost but the atmosphere and game were both good.

Nik Lewis, proving he is thick Nick once again. This guy just keeps getting better with age. Outstanding game for him.
Cornish looked terrible, especially after that hit early he was hearing footsteps.
Glenn was so so in the first half but did enough to keep the Stamps within a TD.
But his 4th quarter and OT he took control and gave the fans some hope that the Stamps can contend. Big bounce back game for him.
Fraser needs to improve in a big way at Safety or find a replacement he was getting beat and was out of position usually sitting too low in the flats and reacting late to the routes.
Bo Levi looked like a leader when he came in at a crucial time and Forzani was unreliable and acted like a brat towards both QB's when (he) dropped easy catches including a TD. Grow up kid.
But not enough can be said for Lewis just wow. Wake up Huff and Flames ownership and realize this guy should be locked up right now! Do not let him become a FA.

What a game. Thanks for the ticket Windom!
It never ceases to amaze me how many Rider fans attend these games. Those around us went from being very talkative and "know-it-all" to complete silence.
I think the fans (those that stayed) made a big difference in the 4th quarter. Maybe the free vuvuzuelas helped, but Durant seemed rattled by the noise and pressure.
Glenn was very good - in fact his passing numbers were better than Durant, before the late come-back began. He spread the ball around beautifully. Cornish and Forzani had bad games. Davis and Tsoumpas should be sat out a game for stupid, selfish penalties.
Perhaps the Riders took away Cornish, forcing Glenn to throw. Glenn responded very well. That is the kind of performance that will galvanize the team and fans behind him.
At the stadium, we did not get a good replay of the Taylor fumble. Was that a good call?
Before the game, we thought we saw director of offiiciating Tom Higgins joking and shaking hands with the Riders coaches, and he walked off the field with them. Is that appropriate?

The Stamps appeared to get screwed over on that one. The ball did come out prior to his knee, elbow etc hitting the turf. But the ball bounced back into his hands when he was on the ground he rolled onto his back while having the ball. The whistle clearly gets blown, then the ball popped loose and Sask jumped on it after the whistle.
2 reasons that was a blown review. The whistle blew the play dead before Sask scooped it up and Taylor was contacted to the ground and had possession while on his back. Play was over, hence the whistle being blown
TSN refused to play the replay with the audio a 2nd time when it could clearly be heard live and on the first initial replay???
Refs appeared to be shafting the Stamps, just like the no flag on Glenn being pile driven into the ground long after the throw. Infact Romby had recieved the ball when Glenn was being abused infront of that smug ref. That was an easy roughing the QB call.

Easily the best game I've ever seen at McMahon. I can't ever remember seeing Stamps fans high five and being so over joyed after a win, and I definitely got caught up in it. I loved seeing the smug comments and arrogance wiped off Rider fans faces last night.
Pure entertainment.

I had no voice after the game last night. It was so awesome. My love of Nik Lewis grows every game! He's such a beast.

What a choke job. And when are CFL fans/teams etc going to learn that 9 minutes in the CFL is an absolute eternity. Did Chamblain think this was the NFL and they could just take a knee?
Drops on catches my grandmother could have made by Getzlaf and Dressler, Chamblain must have had a Ken Miller moment to think the game was over with 9 minutes left thinking we could go into the prevent the win defense, once things started to unravel it looked like the Riders just quit.
If only there were some other game at McMahon where the Riders were up in the 4th qtr and poor decisions by Durant and worse play calling from the coach cost us the game. Luckily this time it isn't all that meaningful compared to the last time it happened.

I had to leave after the third with my son. The Stamps had backed up so many times I thought they were going for ice cream in Cochrane...
Then I check the Stamps forum on the train and see there's a comeback happening...
AArrrgghhhh.......We should have stayed....
Keep refreshing for updates......damn tunnels......
35 - 32 riders Stamps heading down field...and...........................
(Did you know the battery on a new S3 will not last a full day)
So yes...my phone died.....
Get to Canyon Meadows Station and into my truck....
Heading to overtime....
Race home to see Lewis score the winning TD....
Holy Frack what a night.........

I would not say the Riders gave the game away. They were fortunate to have the lead. CGY had some stupid penalties, and dropped a few passes too. Glenn had better passing numbers than Durant, before the 4th quarter.

Nik Lewis is a freak of nature, seriously the dude is fat yet leaps over players like they are nothing. I want what his momma has been cooking him.

I don't think Lewis is fat at all, he's just built like a barrel. You don't see his belly jiggling when he runs like some O-lineman. I used to rather dislike him for the show-boating, but now he's the best reason to watch the Stamps - always entertaining and just runs over people when he gets the ball.

Agree Nik Lewis is absolutly not fat. He is a gym rat and has built up a large neck, chest and shoulders, but what makes Nik Lewis is In the past 4 seasons he has developed very thick muscular thighs for his size to match his fierce style of play.
My guess is that he realized after maybe his 3rd season WR's come and go in this league and he was pretty small when he came into the CFL and he has made himself into a 5'10 Tank that plays like he is 6'4.
Nik Lewis is far from being fat JMO.
