Just got back from a corporate party at the Wildhorse Saloon. It was a sauna in there. Before that it was Cowboys (the nightclub in the casino). Before that it was the Cowboys tent. It's been a hectic four hours.

Went to the grounds today (first time in 10 years)
The deep fried pickle slices are soooooo good.
They are available near the Grandstand / South side of Nashville North.

Heading down to Nashville North on friday, I don't get off work until 4 so should I head straight down to the grounds immediately after I get off to avoid the line getting more ridiculous than it will be later? What kind of wait would I be expecting at 5 rather than 6?

Gord Downie of the Tragically Hip tonight came out for the encore and spoke only in French. Pretty sure he was having some fun with current events.

I would have liked to have gone to this. For next year, how does one get tickets and when do they announce the performers?
I would have loved to have seen 54:40. Every time they come here I seem to be out of town or they play some corporate exclusive event that I find out about too late to snatch tickets.

I was gifted with tickets. They said 17,500 were there, well organized for that size crowd packed in.
5440 looked like they had a great time. Had a Grapes of Wrath member play ketboards. I must miss them too, last time I saw them was at whatever Flames Central was before.

Sounds like the Cowboys tent. Blue Rodeo was good, but the environment was awful. Never again.
