Agree with that. Ray was good (especially in the first half) but having Tate in there would have enabled Calgary to do more offensively

Too bad the Eskimos would never trade him here, but how awesome would it be if we had Ray as our QB?

Special team GOOD! : Larry Taylor had an amazing game today. Special team gave us all the chance to win the game. Rob Maver was also good punting the ball and blocking was also good. Had to work a little on special team coverage but they did their job today.

Defense NOT SO GOOD! : Only a few good plays by the defense. They got burned so many times by Ricky Ray's long pass and they can't stop Boyd's running. Aside from the 4th quarter, they were brutal all game. The last TO possession was terrible too.

Offense NOT SO GOOD! : Drew Tate started off well and looks like he is going to have a good game, then he gets injured. In comes Kevin Glenn. Suddenly the offense falters. OLine can't block, running back can't run until the running game got abandoned again. I think i've only seen Cornish and Coker ran the ball a few times. Cornish fumbled one but I don't think it was entirely his fault as Glenn handed him the ball a little bit lower than it should. I didn't have any confidence close to the end there that the Stamps will even score a TD. I guess I was wrong on one after Taylor's big punt return. Center Mark DeWitt been struggling since the pre-season and hopefully he gets his act together. Now I know why Hamilton was so happy to send him to us.

Way too many mistakes on both sides of the field. It kind of suck to lose by a field goal to a bad team. Next game against Montreal. I can see them trying to get revenge and playing tougher next week against the Stamps. Stamps might be going home with 1-2 record if both offense and defense doesn't learn from this lost.

Good for the Argos to get their first win of the year. They did everything they could to hand that game right back to Calgary. Hopefully the offense can turn those red zone trips into Touchdowns and the Argos could've been closer to 50 today.

Separated shoulder for Tate. Is a separation better or worse than a dislocation? I truthfully have no idea.

Depends on the severity of the dislocation.

I think with a seperation, Tate is looking at 5-6 weeks.

I guess the Stamps feed was wrong earlier:

@AllenCameronCH: Stamps confirm Tate suffered a dislocated shoulder; better than a separated shoulder in big picture. #calstampeders #CFL

I was hoping to see Bo Levi Mitchell play yesterday when Glenn was struggling but the score was a bit too close. I don't have any faith in Kevin Glenn if he plays like last season in Hamilton. That one INT throw he made was just brutal. He looks like he was scared throwing that ball ducking not even looking and just threw the ball. I guess we are stuck with Glenn for awhile but hopefully Huf does not hesitate to make some changes when he struggles. As for the 3rd QB, there is a possibility Huf will get Sinopli back.

Did you hear Tate on QR 77 after the game? He seems like an odd duck. Says he didn't remember the play where he got injured.

#Stamps LB Demetrice Morley is en route back to Calgary for an MRI on his shoulder, will miss Thursday's game against Alouettes.
