what's to stop her from becoming an escort right now? just because it's legal wouldn't make it more desirable for women IMO, it will still always be a profession that's looked down upon by the majority of society

The problem is EU itself, tons of tiny nations scrunched up together and only one of them legalizing prostitution, marijuana, etc.. You can figure out how that will end up before you even start.
Canada is a massive nation with 1 neighbor and this will be a different story here, especially if you look at Australia which has a lot in common with us.

I do agree, I think it would work here. There's not a lot of border crossing for it. Not like Europe. More Like Aussie.

...there's not a lot of border crossing yet. Introduce open drug and sex markets and things will change. It would be like a safe Tijuana. Tijuana is a prime destination for sex slaves. Tijuana has major major problems with organized crime.
