What? You mean The Simpsons lied to me and there isn't, in fact, a Bovine University?

Haha, I was going to say the same thing. The Vancouver stampede hate is fast becoming the unofficial Stampede kickoff.

Until I go to a restaurant and see "Baby Parmigiana" on the menu, perhaps I would.

Looking forward to seeing if the "protest" out front of Stampede Park reaches double digits this year. Both times I went to the park last year, there was no more than eight people picketing, and two of them were clearly the children of another protester who wanted to be doing anything else but making fools of themselves in front of 100,000 people.

Getting hungry.

Going to crack open 4 bird fetus, and put in a third of maple infused pig.

But I stand tall knowing no doe eyed cows are harmed.

Or human babies... for now...

Not to mention the Far Side, those cows go out to dinner, drive cars, etc.

They're abusing children to entertain a crowd? Those monsters!

I think that until there are some real good human baby recipes, I will just have to continue eating other species.

Of all the events at the rodeo, calf roping is the worst.

Do I think that means it needs to stop? Of course not.

If you want to compare them to human kids, then feel free. Even counting the lasso part, I know I dished out that much punishment on my younger brother and sister when I was growing up.

Not to be pedantic, but one should consider the relative projected lifespans of calves and babies. A three month old calf would be equivalent to about a two year old kid.

Anyone been through the "terrible twos"?

I rest my case

You can eat aborted human fetuses in China. Does wonders for the skin. Way better than botox.

There's nothing quite like some salmon sashimi topped with fetus.

I wonder if they would have the same problem with this event if they replaced calfs with grasshoppers.

As well, this reminds me - I need to write the IOC a letter submitting my idea that the Olympics needs a new event in line with modern times and entertainment value - Bear Equestrian.

Would it be humans riding bears, or bears riding horses?
