This is the ad the Vancouver Humane Society is running at the Stampede. I don't really know. I'm on the fence about the rodeo. I definitely support chuckwagon races though.

Haha, Vancouver Peta etc. loses to the Stampede every year.
Regardless that the age of one is not equal the age of the other, all their facts are messed up.

Now that I think of it, I kind of see their point.
I absolutely would not abuse a baby to entertain a crowd.
I would however pay good money to sit drinking beer and watch someone else abuse a baby to entertain me!

Because baby humans are equal to baby cows. They are the exact same thing with the exact same value to all of us.
If you dont value baby cows the same way you value your own child you are a goddamn monster and how dare you exist in our society.
As a matter of fact, right now we should all be thoroughly chastised for our inaction to stabilize the inequality between bovine and human youth.
We have public and separate school systems for our children but we are allowing bovine youth to go uneducated and thus condemning them to their serfdom! as such we are effectively condoning animal slavery.

I'm as hypocritical as they come, but calf-roping is the one Stampede event that I just can't watch. It steps over the line for me. Not a huge fan of steer wrestling either.
Still going to eat them though.

Just like the parade, fried foods & Nashville North. PETA getting it's name in the news is just as much a part of Stampede as the white hats & belt buckles. I'd wager Stampede can't really get kicked off until PETA get's it's nickers in a bunch.
