Why do you always make such douchy comments about Calgary? We get it, you live in Phoenix, and it's fataing beautiful there, and you don't like Calgary, yet have a place here. So annoying.

Also, they mentioned this morning that this may have been gang-related. Hopefully we don't see a rise in gang violence.
I know this is only 2 deadly gang related shootings in two years or whatever, but the police went out of their way to say it was a concern after this shooting, meaning they may know that somethings brewing.

No - I don't live in Phoenix (I spend about 5 months a year there). I live in a small town in Alberta. My statement about Calgary is no different or no more annoying than some of the comments regarding NE Calgary. I'm sure the people that live there don't appreciate some of the comments about their area. I'm sure a lot of people don't like rural areas either. So what. If you like where you live - great - it doesn't matter what other people think.

You can thank Calgary for your 5 months a year in Phoenix.

There aren't many places you couldn't say that about in regards to Albuquerque. Chicago, DC, Gary, are 3 that pop into my head.

Just so we're all clear, you're referring to Gary, Indiana, Correct?

well, I think that many people may not have heard of Gary Indiana.
I have, because I'm an odd duck.
In the first read through, I thought you mean 'gary' as in cal-'gary', also because I'm an odd duck.

Phoenix last year :
MURDERS - 119
BURGLARY - 15,600
THEFT -38,155
I'll take Calgary thanks!
Are you in the auto-alarm business?, Phoenix leads the country in auto thefts.

Don't forget kidnappings. Phoenix is the kidnapping capital of the U.S.A.

Confirmed I guess?

When gunmen wounded an FOB gang associate in a northeast Calgary restaurant July 1 and killed an innocent man dining nearby, it had parallels to one of the darkest chapters in the city's recent history.

I am not technically in Phoenix. My place is very close to Phoenix. Nice and quiet.

Right! you seem to have an answer for everything. But,the real facts are you have no reason to think Calgary is dangerous..just admit it and move on!
